Bella is happy in her home for quite awhile now so she would like to help a fellow Town of Hempstead shelter dog find a home.

Blaire has been in a wonderful foster for over 2 years now. She would love to be someone’s companion and be loved in her own fur ever home.

This is what we can tell you now that she is in a temporary home:
Blaire is house trained, crate trained and walks well on a harness. She is also very sweet and affectionate with her person. Blaire is the perfect combination of couch potato and "mini-athlete"! Blaire loves to run around in the yard, but also is really mellow inside. Blaire loves treats, loves attention, and loves to watch TV! Blaire is very petite and really, really sweet and very easy to love!

If you want to meet Blaire, please call the shelter right away to set up a meet and greet! 516-785-5220. Please, please, please, help us find Blaire her FOREVER HOME! Our hearts break for this 7 year old angel.

Looking at this picture shows you what a day in the life of a shelter dog looks like. It’s just another sad story of a young dog who gets overlooked in a crowded shelter. Poor Bella is young and in need of a home. She has so much love and energy to give to a family. She’s very loving and just wants to be loved back.

Bella loves playing with her toys and with her shelter buddies who walk her. She will trade a toy for another but would benefit from having a savvy adopter. She is young and trainable. Bella is great in the play groups with other dogs too.
