The best medicine is one that combines the centuries-old wisdom of the East with the knowledge of the West. In addition to her doctorate in veterinary medicine she has been trained in veterinary acupuncture and herbal medicine and works with general veterinarians and veterinary specialists across Long Island. Dr. Malik believes in a holistic approach to veterinary medicine. This is why we look at your pet from a Western medical point of view (physical exam and test results) and an Eastern point of view. From a Traditional Chinese Medicine point of view, she will consider the lifestyle of your pet, their personality, and underlying patterns that may be at the root of their medical problems. Dr. Malik will also work closely with your regular veterinarian so that a team-approach can be taken to provide the best medical care for your pet.

The clinic is closed for vacation now through Sunday, March 22nd. During vacation, reception is available to answer questions Monday 16th- Thursday 19th from 12-2 p.m.
We are planning to open with normal business hours on Monday, March 23rd at 1 p.m. However due to the Coronavirus outbreak we are making a policy that all pets in need of a treatment be dropped off. We are kindly asking ALL clients to wait in their cars while we treat their pets. This is for the safety of our clients, myself, and my staff. If this is not possible for you, we would ask you to reschedule your appointment until after the outbreak. We hope this change in policy will allow us to continue to care for our beloved patient population - many who rely on us to walk, hold back cancer, and manage their kidney failure etc. We hope you understand and support us in our efforts to provide great care to your animals while protecting all the humans that love them.
Thanks, Dr. Malik
