Wren came to the shelter as a stray just 23 days ago, and this scared, timid girl is still trying to find her footing. 💔 Beneath her fear is a loving, affectionate dog who just needs patience, understanding, and time to feel safe and blossom. Wren could do well in a home with teens and older, where she can build confidence at her own pace. For dog and cat compatibility in a home, please contact the shelter’s adoptions department. Wren deserves a chance to feel safe and loved. 🐾

Shelter Bio:
Meet Wren! This sweet 5 year young Terrier mix may be a little shy at first, but beneath her timid exterior is a loving girl just waiting to blossom! Wren appreciates slow introductions, gentle encouragement, and of course, some yummy treats to help build her confidence. Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate side shines through as she seeks out pets, attention, and reassurance from her favorite people. She enjoys leisurely walks where she can take her time sniffing and exploring the world around her. Wren can be sensitive to unfamiliar sounds and surroundings, so she’s looking for a patient, understanding family who will help her feel safe and confident. A household with teens and older would be best for this gentle girl. With a little patience and lots of love, Wren is sure to make a wonderful companion!
