⚠️Please Don't Kit-Nap Kittens!
Removing baby kittens from their current environment may not always be the right answer as the mom cat could be nearby getting food (or hiding from you)—and no one can care for a kitten like their mom can! Check out our guide on what steps you should take if you find a kitten.

If the mom is friendly, you can help! Bring the whole family inside, contact your local rescue and we’ll guide you through getting mom spayed and finding loving homes for her babies. 💕

If the kittens appear cold, ill, or injured, human intervention is needed. Keep them warm and immediately contact your local shelter, rescue, or veterinary clinic.

You can assist both the mother and the babies by providing shelter and ensuring fresh, high-calorie cat food and water are always available.

If you want to foster, please email [email protected]

This! You wouldn’t not flush the toilet all day would you? 😸

Scooping the litter box multiple times a day is essential not only for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring your cat's comfort, but also as a valuable diagnostic tool. Many cat parents overlook this important opportunity to detect potential health issues in their early stages due to inconsistent scooping habits.

Changes in litter box behavior such as frequency of use, the appearance of urine or f***s, or the amount of waste, can serve as early warning signs of potential medical concerns. By following a regular scooping routine, you are more likely to notice these subtle yet significant changes.

When visiting a veterinarian, one of the first questions typically asked is whether there have been any recent changes in your cat’s litter box habits. Without consistent monitoring, it can be difficult to provide accurate and helpful information.

Always check toys for safety!

Please carefully check toys before offering to your cat. There are so many cheap, unsafe toys out there. If you shop online, read reviews from customers before adding the toy to your cart. Warnings from those who have previously bought the toy may provide a valuable warning.

Give them a chance!

Give them a chance!

Adopting a fearful cat can be the beginning of a deeply rewarding journey. There's something truly special about watching a shy, uncertain kitty gradually open up and grow into a confident, loving companion. But patience is key.

It's important not to overwhelm your new cat. Trying to force interactions, whether by picking her up, holding her against her will, or encouraging too much contact with family members, can backfire. These actions may unintentionally create a setback in the fragile trust you're working to build.

Fearful cats need something essential: choice. They must feel free to decide when to hide or be visible, when to approach or keep their distance. Offering this freedom is the first step in creating a safe, trusting environment.

Don’t underestimate the power of choice. Let your cat set the pace—and you’ll be amazed at how far trust can go.

Is your cat ready for a buddy?

Is your cat ready for a buddy?

Kittens often accept new friends more easily than adult cats, but personality is key at any age!

If your cat is:
🔹 Confident & social → A new friend may be a great idea, but make sure to still follow a slow introduction process.
🔹 Shy or anxious → They may struggle with a new addition, and they could become fearful and stressed.
🔹 Older & set in their ways → They may prefer a quiet, stable environment. Senior cats do not have the tolerance they once did, if at all, so it may be best to allow them to be an only child.

Choosing a cat with a similar energy level, temperament, and life stage can improve the chances of a successful introduction.

⚠️Please Don't Kit-Nap Kittens!
