Adopt Niblet! Born in 2007, this 18-year-old calico beauty was abandoned outside by her owner without food or water. She was starving and emaciated when a kind neighbor found her and took her in. Niblet is healthy, eating well, and has gained her weight back. She has a sweet disposition and walks around the house purring. She is fine with other cats, but might do best an only cat during her twilight years.

If you are interested in providing a loving home for Niblet to live out the rest of her life, contact Nisha at [email protected] and Gemma at [email protected]. Niblet is located in Contra Costa County, CA. Adoption application:https://www.communityconcernforcats.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/FORM-CC4C-Adopt-App-2024.pdf

Adopt Patches! Born in Decenber 2024, Patches is an energetic and friendly 6-month-old kitty who was dumped at a nursery. She white with beautiful tabby spots - a unique and interesting pattern.

Patches has a big purr and loves lap cuddles and treats. She likes to be the boss with other cats, so she would do well as an only cat. She would likely be fine with a gentle dog and older kids.

If you are interested in providing Patches with a loving forever home, contact Marilyn at [email protected]. Patches is being fostered by Rosie in Contra Costa County, CA.

Meet ā€œUllieā€. This sweet little boy was born around the end of April 2025. Shortly after his birth, two dogs attacked his mother and killed his litter mates. The dogs brought Ullie’s limp body to their owner as a display of their hunting prowess… but Ullie miraculously survived. This precious boy is a fighter. Ullie is in the CC4C foster program and being cared by his loving foster.

Ullie suffers with a herniated diaphragm. This means on occasion Ullie’s intestines push up through his diaphragm and put pressure on his lungs and heart. Ullie struggles to breathe.

Because of his breathing issue, we have to monitor his food intake. We must be sure his belly doesn’t swell and hurt his lungs. His feedings are frequent, but small. Smaller feedings mean that Ullie is growing at a slower rate.

Despite this set back, we are diligently working round the clock to support Ullie’s growth. Once he is big enough, he can have surgery to correct his hernia and live a normal, healthy life. The surgery is very expensive, the rough initial estimate is $5000.

This fundraiser is being held with two hopes in mind: First, we hope that spreading the word about Ullie will bring positive vibes for his survival. Everyone deserves a cheering section. And second, that we have the funds ready to go the minute Ullie is big enough for surgery.

Please, if you can help little Ullie with love and maybe a dollar or two, we will be forever appreciative.

Your donation will help Ullie and other cats in our rescue who need urgent care, safe foster homes, and loving second chances. Every dollar goes directly to saving lives.

Adopt Rocky and Lucy! Born around December 2024, these bonded siblings are described as PERFECT by their foster. Rocky is a fluffy orange boy, and Lucy is a fluffy Abyssinian mix ticked tabby girl.

Rocky is loving, super friendly, snuggly, and will sleep in the bed curled up with you. Lucy is shy at first, but warms up quickly. She enjoys playing, snuggling, and being held. Bonus: both are great with other cats, dogs, young children, and in busy households.

Adopt Caspian! Born in 2023, this 2-year-old house panther boy was rescued from a hoarding situation. Despite his tragic backstory, Caspian is a gentle soul with a soft sweetness about him. He loves ear scritches and petting. He sometimes does a little chirp to say hi.

Caspian is great with other cats and could be adopted with his buddy Bailey (from the same place), to a home with a friendly resident cat, or as a single cat. He would do best in a quiet home or a home with older kids. This boy is waiting to blossom in your house. You are guaranteed to fall in love with him!

Caspian is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. If you are interested in providing a loving forever home for Caspian, contact Marilyn at [email protected]. Caspian is being fostered by Sarah in Contra Costa County, CA.

🌟 We’re so grateful to Girl Scout Troop #31607 for stepping up as young leaders in our community. 🐾

A huge THANK YOU to this incredible Girl Scout troop for donating $750 to Community Concern for Cats! They chose us as their charity of choice and gave a portion of their hard-earned sales to help cats and kittens in need. šŸ’š

Their generous donation will go toward directly supporting the care of our rescued cats and kittens—providing food and much needed supplies at our adoption site in Walnut Creek.

We’re so touched by their kindness, compassion, and dedication—and we’re honored they chose us. Way to go, Troop 31607!

Adopt Theodora! Born in June 2023, this beautiful tabby girl showed up to a cat colony while pregnant. She was taken in and gave birth shortly after. All of her kittens were adopted, and now it is Theodora’s turn to find a forever home.

Theodora is sweet, friendly, gentle, and has the cutest white bib and socks. She loves to rub against your hand and receive pattings and head scratches. She would do best in a quiet home as an only cat.

If you are interested in providing Theodora with a loving forever home, contact Paola at 925-323-0503 or [email protected]. Theodora is located in Contra Costa County, CA.
