She trapped 58 cats at a mobile home park last spring. This year, they called back - to learn how to do it themselves!

Stacy sits down with Tanya Cook of Ohio Alleycat Resource in Cincinnati to talk about what it really looks like to build a community cat program from scratch and how one person can spark a movement.

🐾 400+ cats TNR'd in the pilot year
🐾 From neonatal foster to full-time advocate
🐾 The Neighborhood Cat Ambassador Program
🐾 Zip code targeting using shelter & rescue data
🐾 Community cat census via QR code flyers
🐾 Teaching communities to sustain the work themselves

This is the long game. And it's working. 🙌

Adopt Oscar and Charli! Born on 3/10/26, these bonded siblings are friendly, playful, and super sweet.

Oscar, the bigger male sibling, has velvety blue-gray fur with dapper white spots at his neck, chest and feet. He’s a bold explorer, the first one to venture out and see what’s new and interesting. He loves to pounce and play, and hasn’t met a toy he doesn’t like.

Charli is a sweet, spunky tuxedo cat. She loves to play with her brother. Though she’s smaller, she’s got a big voice, and she’s the first who will approach and ask for a cuddle. She’ll reward you with loud purrs.

These affectionate kitties will keep you laughing with their goofy antics. They get along with other cats.

If you are interested in providing Oscar and Charli with a loving forever home together, contact Juliet via text at 510-220-7469. They are being fostered by Sara in Contra Costa County, CA.
