Did you know over 500,000 pets are affected by house fires every year? Today’s a great time to take steps to protect your furry family members in case of emergency.

🚨 Fire Safety Tips for Pet Owners:
🔹 Never leave candles unattended—especially around curious noses and wagging tails
🔹 Keep leashes and carriers near exits
🔹 Use window decals to let firefighters know pets are inside
🔹 Secure stove knobs—pets can accidentally turn them on!
🔹 Have a fire escape plan that includes your pets

🔥☀️ Beat the Heat: Preventing Heat Stroke & Dehydration in Pets! ☀️🔥

Summer is here, and while we love soaking up the sun, high temps can be dangerous for our furry friends! 🐶🐱

🚨 Signs of Heat Stroke in Pets:
😰 Excessive panting or drooling
💔 Lethargy or confusion
🌡️ Vomiting or collapse

🌊 Tips to Keep Your Pet Safe:
✅ Provide constant access to fresh water
✅ Keep walks short and avoid midday heat
✅ Never leave pets in a parked car (even for a minute!)
✅ Use shaded areas and cooling mats when outside
✅ Watch for signs of distress—heat stroke can come on fast

If your pet shows any signs of overheating, head to the nearest emergency vet immediately!
