Ragdolls are the ultimate cuddle buddies! They are the gentle giants of the cat world and are known for their striking blue eyes, silky coats, and their signature flop when picked up.
🐾Known for their affectionate, dog-like personalities, they'll follow you around the house wanting to be involved in everything you do!
🐾One of their famous traits is when they flop when held, hence the name ragdoll, they're some of the most relaxed kitties around.
🐾They can grow large, males can reach up to 20 pounds!
🐾Ragdolls take about 3-4 years to reach full size and coat development.
🐾They're wonderful with kids, dogs, and other cats, making them social butterflies.

FALL CAT SAFETY: As seasons change, so do cat safety needs...
🍂As the temps get cooler, make sure your cats have warm bedding.
🍁Monitor cats around seasonal foods.
🍂 Ensure fall decorations are cat friendly.
🍁Look for ticks if your cat spends time outside.
🍂Watch for fallen leaves, which can harbor hidden dangers like toxic plants or insects.
🍁Anti-freeze, which is highly toxic to cats, is more commonly used with colder weather, make sure it is kept in a safe place and clean up any spills.
🍂With cooler weather, doors and window may be left open, ensure screens are secure to prevent your cats from escaping.

Owls Head Lighthouse, located in the town of Owls Head, Maine, was constructed in 1825 and rebuilt in 1852. It sits on an 80 foot bluff overlooking the Penobscot Bay in Rockland Harbor; because of the cliff, its' short stature stands at 30 feet tall. The keeper's house, which was once used for Coast Guard families, is now an interpretive center for the American Lighthouse Foundation.

Trimming your cat's nails doesn't have to be battle!
🐾Start slow with trimming 1 or 2 nails at a time, make the sessions short and sweet
🐾Offer lots of treats and praise
🐾 Use a calm voice and take breaks
🐾If they're extra wiggly, you can place your cat in a cozy towel "purrito"
The more positive the experience, the easier it gets over time!

Snuffle Mats are great for enrichment. It encourages sniffing and foraging for food, which help them settle and be calm. They work as a slow feeder also, providing mental stimulation. As like their other toys, use supervision when in use and discard if there are any loose threads.
