Happy National Siamese Cat Day!!
😺Siamese are known for their outgoing nature. They are called "velcro" cats because they form strong bonds with their owners and they tend to stay close and want to be with their humans constantly.
😺They are known for being chatty and have a distinct loud and low-pitched voice.
😺Siamese cats are highly intelligent and can be trained to do tricks!
😺They are active, playful, and curious; they need lots of toys and playtime for enrichment and may become destructive if they don't get enough stimulation.

🐾If children in your household receive Easter baskets, please keep plastic grass, plastic toys, and ribbons out of your pet's reach. Keep track of how many plastic eggs are hidden to ensure they are all retrieved before your kitty gets a hold of the candy inside.
🐾Keep those Chocolate easter bunnies, eggs, and sweet treats out of your kitties' reach. Chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine that are toxic to cats (and dogs). The darker the chocolate, the more toxic it is.
🐾Many types of lilies can cause kidney failure if a cat eats any part of the plant, drinks water in the plant's vase, or inhales or ingests the pollen.

Happy First Day of Spring!! Here's some tips to keep your kitty happy and safe this spring!
🐾Open windows: It's tempting to open the windows to get some fresh air, but unsecured screens can be a hazard, ensure all windows are cat proof to prevent falls.
🐾Toxic plants: Not all flowers are cat friendly, like tulips, daffodils, and lilies. Keep these out of reach or opt for cat friendly plants
🐾Flea and heartworm prevention: Fleas and mosquitos are more active. Even indoor cats are at risk if these parasites hitch a ride on your shoes or clothing. Monthly flea and heartworm prevention will keep your kitty safe.
🐾Shedding and Grooming: Spring is shedding season. Help them manage their excess fur with regular brushings, this reduces risk of hairballs.
🐾Spring cleaning with caution: Many cleaning products have chemicals that are toxic to cats. Use pet friendly cleaners and keep your kitty away from the strong fumes.
