My name is Christina! I started working at Animal Medical Center as an assistant in 2014 and became a licensed technician in 2023. One thing I love about being a technician is that I’m able to bond and build relationships with our patients and their owners every single day. Currently, I have a diabetic freeloading cat and a very blind and deaf dog. Outside of work I try to balance my time with staying active and crocheting obsessively.

Mollie Schatti, LVT
Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Mollie has been a dedicated member of the Animal Medical Center team for approximately 21 years. She graduated from Cox High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Virginia Wesleyan University. She later completed her Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification at Dallas County Community College.

Mollie is passionate about veterinary anesthesia and she serves as a mentor to our veterinary technology students, helping guide the next generation of technicians.

She shares her home with her fiance, their three grown children, two dogs, a cat, and a snake. Outside of work, Mollie enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, relaxing at the beach, biking, and paddleboarding- basically anything outdoors!

Her love for animals, dedication to education, and commitment to patient care makes her a valued part of the AMC family.

This is one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians, Emily!

You can usually find her rooming appointments, filling meds, and running diagnostics in the lab, or pulling blood and treating your pets the treatment area.
She started working at AMC as a receptionist in 2018 while going through school, and became a LVT in 2022.

Her favorite part of being a Vet Tech is connecting with her patients’ owners and being able to help their best friends feel better.

Outside of AMC, Emily loves spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their 2 year old daughter, Evelyn. She enjoys reading, crocheting, and going to the beach. She has a 9 year old Chessie mix named Bailey, and a 10 year old cat named Arya.

Hi, my name is Erin Andres and I am one of the LVT’s at AMC.
I was hired at AMC in 2011, right after the end of my 6yr enlistment from the Navy. I knew when I was young I wanted to work with animals but life happened and I pushed my dreams to the side.
When I joined AMC I was really happy that I could finally pursue my dream to help animals and gain experience. I originally wanted to become a veterinarian but that didn’t work out for me; then I applied to the Vet Tech program at NOVA (distance learning) but it wasn’t for me either.
I decided to stay as a vet assistant/kennel attendant so I can focus on improving animal handling, client communication and laboratory skills. I did work at Animal Eye Care for about a year in 2014 but I came back to AMC as a full-time employee.
When Covid hit, it was a very challenging time, I questioned my dreams and myself. I didn’t know if I wanted to continue in this field, but I kept going with the help of my co-workers. We kept each other together even though we were probably getting on each other’s nerves.
Then in 2022 I decided to give the Vet tech program another chance. TCC had an on campus program and I had a few of my co workers that were either in the program or graduated. I applied and was accepted into the program. It was the hardest 2 years of my life but I was able to pass the program and passed the VTNE a few days before graduation.
Now as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, I have new responsibilities, new skills and a new view of the field. I really love my job, there’s always going to be ups and downs but I wouldn’t trade it. I’m also grateful to be part of a great team and patient LVT’s guiding me on this exciting path.
