Hey everyone, I’m Banjo! 🎶🐾 I’m a 10-month-old Labrador Retriever with a personality as big as my appetite (and trust me, that’s huge).

I specialize in scamming humans for treats with my irresistible puppy-dog eyes.🍖👀 Some call it manipulation—I call it talent.

When I’m not perfecting my snack hustle, I’m in adventure mode. My greatest feat? Breaking out of the fence just to hang with my bestie across the street. No worries, I made it back safely (with zero regrets). 🏃‍♂️💨

Life’s all about fun, food, and friendship, and I plan on living it to the fullest. Wanna be friends? Just bring treats. 😉

🐶 A mysterious case: What happened to Tucker? 🩺

A few months ago, we had an unforgettable case with the sweetest golden retriever puppy, Tucker. At first, he came in with what seemed like a simple upper respiratory infection. But things quickly became more complicated.

➡️ He was hospitalized overnight for pneumonia and responded well, so we sent him home.
➡️ A few days later, he was back—vomiting and bringing up mucus. We feared his pneumonia was worsening, so we treated him again and sent him home.
➡️ Then, he returned yet again with the same symptoms. Something wasn’t right.

After taking more X-rays, Dr. Cromwell suspected either a foreign body (something he ate!) or a mass. With his pneumonia complicating things, we knew we had to act fast. So, we took him to exploratory surgery to get to the bottom of it.

💥 Final diagnosis: It was a toy obstruction! That’s right—Tucker had swallowed a toy. With surgery, supportive care, and lots of love, he made a full recovery.

This little guy kept us guessing, but cases like his are exactly why we’re here—to provide answers, expert care, and a dedicated team fighting for every pet. 💙

✨ Pet of the Week ✨

Hello, darlings. I’m Charlie—but my friends call me Charles, Chunk, Chunky, or Chancho. 🐾🎩 I’m an 8-month-old Cavapoo with a joyful personality, a flair for politeness, and a hidden talent that’s sure to impress.

Unlike most pups, I don’t just jump on people—I greet them like a true gentleman. 🤝 Sit, extend paw, accept admiration. It’s all very proper.

Oh, and let’s talk about my Christmas heist. 🎁 While visiting my grandparents in Oklahoma, I stealthily snuck into their bedroom, located my gift, unwrapped it without a trace, and enjoyed my new bone in total bliss. 🕵️‍♂️🐶 Some might call it sneaky—I call it well-executed holiday cheer.

Life’s too short not to be fabulous, so if you see me around, be prepared for a handshake and a whole lot of charm. 😏

✨ Pet of the Week ✨

Hi hi hi, I’m Kimber—a four-year-old Pitbull with lots of energy, lots of love, and zero self-control around food. 😇🐶

I’m the best girl (or so Mom and Dad say), but I do have a little habit of… chewing up everything in sight when they aren’t watching. Stuffed toys? Destroyed. Random objects? Also fair game. What can I say? I like to keep life interesting! 😆

Speaking of keeping things interesting—let’s talk about my greatest accomplishments:
🍕 That whole pizza on the counter? Mine.
🐖 The plate of pork chops? Also mine.

I move fast. I work in silence. I leave no crumbs. A true legend.

When I’m not outsmarting my humans, I’m all about cuddles, zoomies, and being the sweetest, happiest pup around. If you see me at Coastal Vet, say hi! (And maybe bring snacks… you know, just in case. 😉)

Cheeto had a big day recently—she was spayed! 🐱 This routine procedure has major health benefits, including a reduced risk of pyometra (a serious uterine infection) and mammary cancer, as well as eliminating heat cycles and behavioral changes associated with them. (And, of course, to prevent unwanted kittens!)

Cheeto was carefully monitored under anesthesia, given appropriate pain management, and recovered in a quiet, feline-only space—our “Catalina Hotel”—designed to keep cats calm and comfortable. 🏥🐾

For the following weeks, she had limited activity, avoided excessive grooming near the incision, and wore her e-collar to prevent complications. With proper post-op care, she healed quickly and was back to her usual antics in no time. 🧡

Hello, adoring fans. I’m Moose—but you can call me Mooster if you’re feeling fancy. At 12 years old, I’ve earned my title as a Distinguished Old Man™, and I carry myself with the wisdom and grace of a true gentleman (most of the time). 🐾

I’ve spent my golden years as an accidental emotional support dog, offering quiet companionship, soulful stares, and the occasional nudge when my human needs it. It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it. 💙

But let’s be real—I’ve got a mischievous streak, too. Turns out, I cracked the code on how to open the gate (genius alert 🚨), and I may have used this knowledge to repeatedly free my baby pup sister for some unauthorized neighborhood adventures. What can I say? She deserved a taste of freedom. 😎🐕

Nowadays, I’m a little less about jailbreaks and a little more about soaking up belly rubs and sunbeams. If you see me around, feel free to admire my wisdom—and maybe bring me a treat. I won’t say no. 😉

Elizabeth is one of the newest faces here at Coastal Vet, but she’s already making a big impact! With over two years of veterinary experience (plus a year in doggie daycare!), she’s passionate about hands-on care and helping pets feel their best. 💙

What does she love most about Coastal Vet? The personal connections. 💕 “Everyone here knows the clients and their pets—it feels different from anywhere else I’ve worked.”

✨ Pet of the Week ✨

Hi friends, I’m Jingle “Bell” Brown! 🔔 But you can call me Belly Girl, Jelly Belly, or Baby Bell—honestly, I’ll respond to anything if you say it in a fun voice! 😆

I’m a 4.5-month-old Cockapoo, and I have Little Puppy Energy™—which means I spend most of my time zooming, chewing, and plotting my next great escape. (And yes, my mom is working hard to convince me that “not chewing on furniture” is a talent. TBD on that one.🤷‍♀️)

My latest adventure? Sneaking through a fence hole so tiny it defied physics, leading my mom on a full-speed chase in front of an entire bus stop of elementary schoolers. She may or may not have taken a tumble. I may or may not have felt bad. But hey, the kids got a show! 😬🐾

If you ever see me out and about (probably wiggling my way through an unexpected gap in reality), say hi! Or, better yet, bring treats. I definitely won’t chew on your shoes if you do. 😉
