🎃 Happy Halloween!
Whether your pet’s rocking a spooky ‘fit or just tolerating your costume choices, we want to see it. Drop those costumes in the comments! 📸

Happy to the masters of mischief, nap champions, and treat connoisseurs. 😼
They ignore us, sass us, and somehow still have us wrapped around their little paws, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Give your cat an extra treat today (and share a pic in the comments — they won’t care, but we will).

🚨 IMPORTANT ALERT FOR LOCAL PET OWNERS 🚨
We have received reports that scammers are "spoofing" our animal hospital's phone number to target owners of lost pets.

If you receive a call that looks like it is coming from us claiming we have your missing pet and demanding immediate payment or a deposit for emergency medical care, please hang up and call us back directly at our official number.

Please know:
• We will never demand immediate payment over the phone via cash apps, wire transfers, or gift cards to treat an injured lost animal.
• Your phone’s caller ID can be faked by criminals using software; it does not mean they have breached our actual phone system or our clinic.

If you are missing a pet, please remain vigilant against these heartless scams. If you suspect you have been targeted, do not send money, and please report the incident to local law enforcement.
Please share this post to help protect our community's pet parents! ❤️🐾

For our last tech week post, we would like to give a shout out to our Lead LVT Tiffany!

Tiffany is seen all around the hospital, whether she’s in surgery, loading rooms, or even helping up at the reception desk. She also does a ton behind the scenes and takes care of all of us around the hospital. She is so passionate and loving with her patients and we couldn’t ask for a better lead. Being as dedicated as she is to her profession, she totally rocks everything she does!
Thank you so much for being here with us at Clarke and HAPPY VET TECH WEEK ❤️🎉

The beautiful thing about tech week is the opportunity to spotlight our Licensed Veterinary Technicians. 🩺🐾

Averie pours her heart into caring for her patients and is great at what she does. She is a calm, steady presence, even when things get tough. She is incredibly skilled and is often a go-to person for other staff. 🐈‍⬛🦎

Veterinary medicine is challenging, emotional, unpredictable, exhausting and often times downright thankless. Help us make sure Averie know that she is appreciated. Thank you Averie. Happy Veterinary Technician Week. We love you! 💚🔬

I’ve been off a couple weeks, but now that I’m back, it’s time to get back on track with our:

Clarke’s Employee Pets!

Today’s pet is Bentley! Bentley belongs to one of our lovely receptionists Jen! Bentley has a few favorite things but his most favorite is TREATS (or any food for that matter). He absolutely loves car rides, but especially on Fridays because he gets to go to the store with dad and gets a pup cup afterwards. Mom swears that he knows when it’s Friday and WHERE Bigby is! He loves to sunbathe and when he’s laying in the front window of the house he is on high alert making sure the whole house knows when there is another dog around.🐶 Bentley LOVES 💗 people but isn’t so much of a fan of other dogs. Mom learned that while trying to foster a couple different times. He tolerated the other pups the best he could, but they better just stay away from him and his mom. 🤣 Bentley hates water, and refuses to go outside if it is raining or even sprinkling ☔️ but LOVES the snow ❄️ and will want to go out on a walk even in a blizzard.

We love you Bentley!

Our pets come in all shapes and sizes, but how can we tell if that shape is healthy or not? Give your pet a nice squeeze. If it is difficult to feel their bones, then they might need some help managing their weight.
🐾 If you're unsure about your pet’s weight or diet, we’re here to help. Contact us today!

Tech Week gives us an opportunity to spotlight our wonderful Licensed Veterinary Technicians and thank them for their hard work. 🔬🩺

Shaun works hard to advocate for her patients who can’t speak for themselves. She has a huge heart for the animals, clients and coworkers alike. Her willingness to jump in help in any situation, paired with her heart of gold, makes her exactly what a great veterinary technician should be! 🐾🐶

Thank you Shaun for all you do and Happy Tech Week. 💜🐱
