Heat stroke in pets is a real emergency.

Heat stroke can happen fast — especially in active breeds, brachycephalic (flat-faced) pets, seniors, and those with underlying health issues.

Watch for these signs:
🚨Heavy panting or difficulty breathing
🚨Drooling
🚨Vomiting or diarrhea
🚨Lethargy, confusion, or collapse

If you notice any of these symptoms, don’t wait — Call us immediately. Prompt treatment can be lifesaving. Putting them in the car with the AC blasting and using towels soaked with cool (not cold) water can help while you're on the way!

Never leave pets in parked cars, limit outdoor activity during peak heat, and always have fresh water and shade available.

We had a client send this to us. Does anyone know what kind of snake this is? It was about 6ft long.

🌽 Summer Safety PSA for Pet Parents! 🐶

As BBQ season heats up, keep this in mind: corn cobs are dangerous for dogs! The cob can cause intestinal blockages—often requiring surgery. 😟

🚫 Never let your dog chew on or eat corn cobs.
⚠️ Signs your dog may have swallowed one:
Choking, gagging, or pawing at the mouth
Excessive drooling
Vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation
Bloating, abdominal pain, or lethargy

🐾 What to do:
If you suspect your dog ate a corn cob, call your vet right away and watch for any distress.

Enjoy summer safely—share the corn, skip the cob!
