ANSWER: Some of you were spot on! This little guy had lice! Although it gives us the creepy crawlies, he will be feeling better in no time with some prescription parasite control for he and his housemate. To put your minds at ease, he can't give it to his humans- lice is species specific!

We recently saw a cute little Guinea Pig friend who had a few spots of patchy hair loss. We took some samples and saw this under the microscope! Any guesses? We will update with the answer later- stay tuned!

Say 👋 to Felix! This sweet girl came in because she had a small mass along her jaw line on the inside of her mouth. Dr. Houser recommended surgically removing the mass and sending it to the lab for biopsy so we could treat appropriately. The results are in and GREAT news, no cancer or anything scary! Felix should be back to herself in no time!
