Finally have a start date for obedience class! Yay! Been a long time coming. I have to apologize for not doing classes last year. I just had a bad year last year between getting super sick, then botched surgery, and after i took care of, and lost my friend from cancer, i just got sad and didn’t have it in me. I am finally back on track.

So we will start June 2nd. That’s Tuesday evenings. We work at Southside Park on South 3rd Street. I will have a 4:00, 5:00, and 6:00 class. We will meet for 8 weeks of class and graduation once a week, and then on week 9 we will do a canine good citizen test if you and your dog feel ready. I will only do beginning class this first round.

The 8 weeks of class and the CGC on week 9, all the videos, and written material and individual instruction is $250.

“So why do it?” they asked, their voice softer this time.

I sighed, glancing down at my hands. “Because the love they give you is worth every bit of the heartache. They teach you how to love without holding back, even when you know it’s going to hurt in the end. And you keep choosing that love because you know it’s one of the best things you’ll ever feel.”
