Why use beetles is better than boiling skulls?? Here are a few reasons that separate some of the finer details. Dermestid beetles will get into every nook and cranny on these skulls. If there’s meat to be had they will find a way to get that meat! Boiling and pressure washing will break apart the inside nasal cavities and potentially damage the skull if not careful enough. Here are some photos of them at work and the fine details they help keep your trophies perfect. From the largest bull elk to the tiniest sandhill crane!
