Bihotz Brittanys and Bostons Quality Dogs to create long lived best friends

When at a trot the Brittany's hind foot should step into or beyond the print left by the front foot. Clean movement, coming and going, is very important, but most important is side gait, which is smooth, efficient and ground covering.

So Proud of these girls! 🥹🥳🙌
Long post because we had a lot of accomplishments this weekend.

Saturday October 11th 2025 was one for the record books. I legit should have bought a lottery ticket! 🎫

First off Maite with the help of the amazing Christina achieved Winners and Best of Winners and got the major she needed to complete her championship. After 3.5 years of showing dogs, and just over a year with Maite; This was our first completed championship on any dog we have shown. We are Incredibly proud of her!! We were flying high after this!

But the competitive Cora was not going to be upstaged. So, a couple hours later, she rocked it with me on the end of her lead to get a third major and finish her championship title on the same day! Cora has been completely owner handled and finished in basically 2 months. (If we just block out how bad she was for her first few shows in the 6-9 month class 😅🤦‍♀️)

Lastly my little Liver Rocket, Millie completed her last few Fast Cat Qualifying runs for her DCAT title.

I cannot express how elated I am. This was probably our last show of the year and I was hoping to finish one girl. So relieved and grateful to be able to finish them both before we curl up for the winter.

Miss Cordelia is a bird dog!
Cora and I ventured to Reno to the GSP club of Reno’s Double Double this weekend and ran in 4 Junior Hunt tests. And she passed all four! Some with flying colors and some by the skin of our teeth. I’m so proud of her for doing a great job showing the judges her desire for birds and her ability to find birds!
Thank you to Derrick and Shannon from Jump Creek Kennels for her basics and bird intro.

The Reno Kennels Club is a wrap!
Maite got no love in Bostons but we lost to some nice quality dogs and had a blast showing.
But the Elsa x Winston Girls stole the show.
Friday: Last time Cora was in the puppy classes and
she was awarded a Group 2 puppy! There
was a nice collection of Sporting puppies.
Skye won BOB over a very quality Special
Saturday: the judge was 25 minutes ahead of
schedule due to absences and Skye missed
the ring time.
Cora was awarded WB/BOS for 2 points!
Sunday: Cora was awarded another WB for another 2
points!
Skye was awarded BOB again over two quality
Specials
Glenda got a nice photo of her girls after the show.
Cora has really mellowed out and is figuring out this show dog game over the last few months.
I am so happy with these girls and I know their breeders Glenda and Beth and so happy with the consistency and quality of this litter.

I don’t post near enough about this beauty but Miss Maite is really a great little dog. She is so easy to show and a dream to live with. She is picking up a point here and there with some tough competition. Thank you to Anna with Bonny Bostons for breeding this beauty and blessing us with her. And Thank you for all the help from all our friends to make it happen. And especially Todd Thornton for stepping in and showing her when I cannot.

Meanwhile, at home, I had a little time before sunset for a long walk for this goof ball. She spooked up a bunch of quail, which she thinks are so much fun to chase even if she has yet to catch one (thankfully). She also found herself a grouse, this may have scared her a bit when it got defensive but she recovered well. 😳 .
