Yesterday we had our IEA show hosted with . While it was sad to not be able to have our show at home, we had a lovely facility to use this year. Always so proud to see these shows come together with the help of all our riders and their parents. It amazes me how the girls can do all the things (horse prep, horse holding, schooling, helping each other) AND seem to ride their very best. Proud of you all! Thank you parents for all you do to help make these happen, horse person or not, thank you for doing your part to support your kids 🩵

Thank you to Jamie and Windswept for the use of your farm, it was lovely.

Congratulations to both high school and middle school for being high point team.
To Payton and Quinn for being high point and reserve high point rider for high school.
To Caroline for being reserve high point rider for middle school.
To Danica for winning the most important sportsmanship award.
And tally for being horse of the afternoon.

Grateful for my college kids, past IEA members, and adults for stepping in to help. You are the best.

As always, thank you to the horses who keep it together and give these kids the rides that they do, I'm biased but I think I have a special group of them.

Our third year down to Aiken for the TIP Championships did not disappoint. The girls supported each other, took exceptional care of their horses, and had an overall wonderful experience.

Jump was a model citizen participating in costume classes, in hand, leadline, over fences and the flat. Danica and him got around their courses wonderfully, pinning in every class. They were called back to the final round in almost all of their flat classes. They ended up 5th overall in the very green division, with Danica being the top scoring junior rider and 7th overall in the beginning hunter division. Most importantly, he was the leadline champ, leading Kristie to a win in the adult leadline and Willow to a win in the kids.

Ember made it loud and clear that the schooling ring is not for her, but turned it on big time in the show ring. She ended up 4th overall in the junior pleasure with Giana, getting a callback to the final flat classes in all but one. She was reserve champion in the crossrails, as well as 3rd overall in the very green division, getting it together by the very last class to finish strong with a win in the undersaddle.

Thank you endlessly to the girls families for being so supportive and fun to travel with. Most importantly for taking care of Willow like she is your own. Thank you to Leigh for all of the things (you are truly the best) and the Two Bit Farm crew for being such a supportive group. Thank you to Lauren for the beautiful braids. And thank you to everyone who holds it down at home so I can do these shows. Until next year Aiken....

We back! We had an awesome start to our 2025-2026 IEA season. Both teams were reserve champion! Reece was high point middle school rider, Loren and Ella were tied for reserve for high school, and Danica won the coveted sportsmanship award. Whitney was a saint as always. Thank you to Durango for hosting!

Late post, but! Colonial Classic 2025 did not disappoint. We had an overall lovely experience and I could not be prouder of all these horses, girls, and their families. Watching everyone work together to set up, take care of the horses and each other, and break down was amazing. I love the support of this group. We laughed, we cried (happy tears and not), rode our hearts out, and most importantly enjoyed the experience. I can honestly say every single one of these girls had their moment throughout the weekend. Congratulations to you all!

Thank you for letting us borrow some special ponies so we could still play today!
