⭐️As we wrap up 2025, we want to take one final moment to reflect on our year at Liberty Grove Farm, hosting three schooling shows!⭐️

All three shows were full of fun, excitement, and success! We saw riders showing Intro A through Fourth Level, featuring FEI Para Rider tests, and Musical Freestyles! Our Cash Jackpot classes were a big hit, with over 32 entries over three shows, and riders winning up to $200!

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the support of our many sponsors this year. Grassroots dressage is not made possible with support, though it’s necessary to continue growing the sport of dressage. A MAJOR thank you to:

A very belated post, but the Liberty Grove Farm team had a fantastic time at USDF Region 6 Championships, hosted by Noah Rattner at Devonwood Equesstrian Center! We had a smaller group this year, as a number of our riders chose to focus on developing their horses this year outside of the show ring. The four horses that attended came out in full force!

Claire Mick and her own Odin competed in the ever competitive Training Level Adult Amateur Championships, taking home eighth place in a large field. This was Odin’s first time competing at Devonwood, and his first time competing in a championships class. Claire did an expert job helping Odin to find his groove as a show horse. We cannot wait to see what these two do next year! 👏🎊

Susanne Frahm and her own Tico competed in the Third Level Adult Amateur Championships, placing third in a field of fifteen! It has been a few years since this pair competed last, but they came out this season stronger than ever! These two are already training and preparing for next season. We are sure that they will only continue to become stronger and stronger! 🌟🙌

Mackenzie Brown brought two horses to Devonwood, her own Pala and Jaye Jones’ Diego! Mackenzie and Pala competed in the Prix St. George (a first for both of them), earning their USDF Silver Medal. It has been a lot of fun watching Mackenzie develop Pala over the last few years, being the first rider to show Pala Fourth Level and Prix St. George for her Silver Medal scores! Mackenzie and Diego competed in the Second Level JR/YR Championships, taking home the Champion title in only their second competition together! Additionally, the pair competed in the First Level Musical Freestyle, earning scores to complete Mackenzie’s Bronze Freestyle Bar! We are all very excited to see these two competing next season! 💪🎉

Thank you to the entire Liberty Grove Farm crew for keeping things running at home, so that we can travel to the shows without concern! We are already preparing for next year and know that it will be amazing!

Liberty Grove Farm is looking to add another member to their team! Opportunity for a dependable, honest, self starter. Must have reliable transportation. Experience with horses is preferred. Sundays, 6 am to 2 pm, plus fill in for other shifts during the week as needed. Position could work into full time for the right individual. Duties include feeding, stall cleaning, and general maintenance. Pay DOE. PM if interested or call 208-699-0381.

Anyone missing this little cutie this morning? LGF staff found this one hanging out at the farm when they arrived this morning to feed. They made sure he is safe in a stall—hopefully we can find who he belongs to❤️

We’re a little late to the party, but we wanted to share a major thank you to everyone who attended our second Liberty Grove Farm Dressage Schooling Show! We had a fantastic time, and everyone rode beautifully!

Our High Point Winners of the weekend were the following combinations:

⭐️Open High Point: Allison Leinen & Tuli with a score of 72.4% at Training 3
⭐️Adult Amateur High Point: Claire Mick & Odin with a score of 72.8% at Training 3
⭐️Junior / Young Rider High Point: Julia Barr & Re*****on with a score of 71.0% at Training 3, and Mackenzie Brown & Dulcinea with a score of 71.0% at Intro C
⭐️Vintage High Point: Valerie Biladeau & MDA Anicolas Storm with a score of 69.75% at Intro C

Congratulations, ladies! You have set a high bar for August!

Another congratulations is due to Allison Leinen & Tuli, who won Best Dressed! 💃

Thank you so much to our volunteers this weekend - you are the back bone of our shows! From scribing, to ring stewarding, to score keeping, and everything in between, our show ran smoothly thanks to them!

Thank you as well to our fantastic judge, Kalli Bowles! Your kind, concise, and encouraging comments gave each and every rider confidence, while also helping them to identify the next step in their training!

A major thank you as well to our sponsors - thanks to their generous support, we are able to keep entry fees to a minimum, and give out lots of prizes and CASH! 💸

Speaking of cash, our jackpot winners this weekend took home no less than $100, with our Training Level Jackpot winner taking home nearly $140! These jackpots will be available again at our August show, and the more entries in each jackpot, the greater amount of cash that’s given!

“Kalli Bowles is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medal recipient, as well as a USDF Certified
Instructor (through 2nd level) and L graduate (with distinction). She owns and runs the Lucky B
Ranch, a boarding and training facility in Sacramento, CA. In her spare time, she works as a vice principal for two local elementary schools.”
