✨Rider progress spotlight✨
with the end of the barrel season winding down we thought it would be fun to do a little rider progress spotlight once a week
This week we are picked Zara
Zara started riding with monarch about a year ago and only started riding horses about six months before that with a dream of wanting to barrel race.
The first video is Zara on one of our seasoned barrel horses Cocoa last year when Zara was still learning when to use leg where her seat needs to be and just getting comfortable on a barrel pattern and Cocoa is an excellent partner to help our newer or younger riders learn all of those things
The second video is of Zara a couple weeks ago on her new partner Dolly.
Dolly is not a season barrel horse and definitely needs to be told where to go and needs a confident partner these two have done awesome together learning and really dialing in where things need to happen and what needs to happen in a barrel pattern and they continue to add speed every time they go out and compete
We are proud and Zara in both videos. It’s just really fun to look at these riders hard work and progress throughout the season
We are lucky to work with such awesome horses and people

We had such a fun time at this race last weekend. Everyone improved their times, had good clean runs, and a few of our girls even won some checks. We love seeing how this program has developed and how our girls are consistently leveling up they’re riding!

We let Coach Meghan out of the house last weekend and she ended up at a Charmaine James clinic 😂
Meghan and one of our awesome clients Casi got to go to the Charmaine James clinic over in Powell Butte Oregon last weekend and it was absolutely incredible! They got to learn so much from one of the best in the barrel racing industry!
