UPDATE: Apex Stables remains under a Level 2 evacuation notice. At this time, our facility is safe, and we feel incredibly grateful that there is no immediate threat to our property.

Our hearts are with everyone in our community who has been impacted by these fires. We understand the urgent need for safe boarding options, and we want you to know that we are thinking of those facing difficult decisions right now.

As soon as evacuation levels are lifted and it is safe for us to resume normal operations, we will provide an update and share any boarding availability we have here on this page. Until then, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to monitor conditions and prioritize the safety of everyone involved.

We also want to express our deepest gratitude to the firefighters, first responders, law enforcement officers, dispatchers, and the countless volunteers who have worked tirelessly to protect our community. Your courage, selflessness, and unwavering commitment have given so many families hope during an incredibly difficult time. While many of you have spent long days and sleepless nights on the front lines, you've continued to answer every call with strength and compassion. Please know that your sacrifices do not go unnoticed. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing between our community and danger and for caring so deeply for the people and animals you serve. The past few days have been incredibly difficult for so many families across the Spokane area. Our hearts are with everyone who has been impacted by these devastating wildfires.

One thing that has stood out above everything else is the incredible strength of the horse community. We are truly in awe of the number of people who have been ready at a moment's notice to hook up their trailers, open their properties, and help evacuate horses and livestock. This community has shown what it means to come together when it matters most.

We are especially grateful for the many close friends who have already reached out and are standing by, ready to answer the call if we need assistance. Knowing we have that kind of support behind us means more than words can express.

We are absolutely heartbroken to learn of the devastation at Pleasant Valley Stables. They have always been an incredible facility and a valued part of our regional equestrian community. Our hearts go out to the owners, boarders, staff, and everyone who called it home. We can't begin to imagine the loss they are facing, and we are keeping them in our thoughts and our prayers.

At this time, Apex Stables remains under a Level 1 – Get Ready evacuation notice. We are closely monitoring conditions and are in regular communication with our boarders. We are hopeful that conditions improve, but we are prepared to act quickly if circumstances change.

Please continue to keep all of our firefighters, first responders, emergency personnel, neighbors, and everyone affected by these fires in your thoughts. Stay safe, look out for one another, and remember that our greatest strength is our community.

No horse may leave and return until further notice.

🌟 **Big Updates at Apex Stables – A Fresh New Look!** 🌟

Over the past few years, we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, making improvements to give our stables the upgrade they deserve. And now, we’re thrilled to share the biggest transformation yet: **our arena exterior is FINALLY complete!** 🎉

For years, we’ve had color swatches up on the barn, dreaming of the day we’d breathe new life into the place. That day has come! We’ve fully repainted the barn in a fresh, vibrant look that brightens the whole property. No more faded walls – just a welcoming, modern vibe that matches the heart of what we do here.

We also tackled those **heavy arena doors** that took every ounce of strength to open! They’ve been replaced with lighter, smoother-operating doors – no more wrestling to get in and out. Just easy access for riders, horses, and everyone in between.

These changes have been a labor of love, and we couldn’t be more excited to share them with you. Apex Stables is looking better than ever – and it’s all for *you* and your horses.

We are excited to share that our dream and vision have finally become a reality!

This last winter, we poured our hearts into building a space where you can securely store your gear. After two months of hard work, we’re proud to share the results.
