Hi everyone PSA here
We try to allow schooling in our dressage arenas, show jump and cross country on an honor basis. We spend time maintaining it for your use as well. But we have had consistent problems this summer on asking first, payment, paperwork and adherence to rules like wearing a helmet , clean up area after , where you can park
(1) send us a text or email or even call with when you want to come. There may be last minute changes (like last week when we didn’t have working water for two days)
(2) YOU MUST FILL OUT YOUR WAIVER and PAY FIRST
(3) if you are a trainer and want to bring clients you must have a copy of your ins on file with us naming the farm as a secondary and you pay the monthly trainer fee You will be responsible for making certain your clients comply with all rules, pay fees , do waivers. You need to tell us who is with you - maybe an envelope with the fees and waivers with everyone’s name on it ?
(3) parking. Please park up near the pads for portable stalls. There are working hydrants there for you to provide water for your horses. Or possibly by C barn if not busy at barns that weekend We are trying to maintain footing in the lower south of driveway field. We also have a septic drain field out there just south of indoor and white fenced arenas we can’t have you park on !
(4) if you pay by Venmo we ask you include the 4% toward fees. Cash and checks are welcome (cash in envelope with a notation as to who it is from.)
(5) use the schooling rails for jumping. Do not take newly painted rails off the jump trailers please! # Those painted rails take time, expensive paints and do not want to be your ground poles, trot rails etc.
(6) there are discounted booklets of tickets available for both arena/trail and xc fees.
(7) when you volunteer you earn Sshf bucks toward haul in, logo gear, store etc.
We want to continue to share this special property with you.
As always be careful of the areas around you. If you notice anything wrong please pass on the details to us so we can make improvements.
Thanks. SSHF
