UPDATE: A note from Kat

I wanted to come on and say thank you to everyone for all the calls, texts, messages, and comments. As you can imagine, yesterday was a crazy day.

We have retained legal counsel, so I cannot speak publicly about the details of the crash, but I am home and recovering. I am incredibly thankful that I made it out in the condition that I did as it could’ve been a lot worse.

During my recovery, it will take me a while to respond to all of my messages but Tim has been reading them to me and I am feeling all the love ❤️ What an honor to know such kindhearted people.

I look forward to connecting with everyone once I am able.

🐾 For the last several years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside pet owners, veterinary professionals, pet sitters, trainers, groomers, and other animal care providers throughout our community.

One thing I’ve learned is that when good professionals know and trust one another, pets receive better care.

My goal is to create a small network of established women-owned pet care businesses that are committed to professionalism, education, ethical practices, and exceptional service. By building stronger relationships between providers, we can create more reliable referrals, better support for pet owners, and a higher standard of care throughout our area.

This isn’t about competition, it’s about collaboration!

When pet owners need a trainer, groomer, pet sitter, behavior consultant, or another specialized service, they deserve access to trusted professionals who genuinely care about the well-being of their pets.

I’m excited to see what we can accomplish together and how we can help strengthen the pet care community in South Lyon, Brighton, Milford, Novi, Northville, and beyond.
