The VALLEY
I'm learning that there is magic showing up when you are in "the valley"-where my riding and my connection with my horse just don't feel like they're coming together.
I remind myself that it's okay to be here — as long as I remain patient, understand that this is a normal part of the process, and that my stay in the valley is temporary, not forever.
When I am in the valley, I know it's not the time to push, try harder, or use louder aids. It's time to stay open, curious, to listen to my horse, be patient, and well, enjoy the process.
To all those who are currently riding in the valley--stay positive and persevere. One day, you will climb out and reach the peak
