🦅 Freedom Friday: Cooper's Hawk Edition! 🦅

This young Cooper’s Hawk came to us as an orphan — too young to survive alone. With expert care, a proper diet, and time to build up his flight skills in our outdoor enclosures, he grew into the fierce, agile raptor he was meant to be.

We’re thrilled to share he’s now soaring free again! Wild and ready to thrive!

✨ Fun fact: Cooper’s Hawks can zip through dense forests at high speeds, catching prey mid-air, and it's usually other birds!

A new transport of dogs and puppies is arriving THIS SUNDAY, and we’re looking to place them into warm, welcoming foster homes!

These pups are coming from overcrowded shelters and are counting on us for a fresh start. Fostering gives them the space to decompress, heal, and get ready for adoption, and it truly changes lives.

Last night, nearly half a million birds took flight, peaking at over 81,000 soaring south-southwest at 5 mph, around 5,100 feet high.
