This is Chase.
At just over 6 years old, he’s stepping into training with a lot of opinions about how the world should work. Right now, his approach is simple. See something interesting, go to it. Fully. Even if that means pulling hard enough to work against himself.
That kind of drive doesn’t get erased. It gets shaped.
Chase is a friendly, social dog who enjoys people and isn’t shy about asking for attention. Jumping, barking, pushing into space… it’s all part of how he’s learned to interact so far. No aggression here, just a dog that hasn’t been shown where the lines are yet.
The encouraging part is he’s highly motivated, especially when food is involved. That gives us something to build on. Clear communication, consistent expectations, and a structure he can understand.
Dogs like Chase don’t need less energy. They need direction.
He’s going to keep things interesting. And that’s exactly where the work begins.
Welcome to The Canine Crew, Chase.
