Turtle eating like a parrot!
I will do whatever it takes to get a kitten to eat!!
Turtle was found alone, starving, and unable to eat on his own. After 1 week he is doing great but still needs a LOT of encouragement!

He is incredibly lonely & we hope to pair him up with another kitten after he finishes quarantine!

Help! I found kittens what do I do? WAIT

Kittens are appearing in window wells, under porches & in garages. It’s kitten season & it’s not cute.

If you find a kitten WAIT before you intervene. Assess the age & health of the kitten. Follow the CASA method.

If you have a healthy, clean, quiet kitten, back off and wait for mom to come get it.

If kitten is in distress - intervene & consider becoming a foster!

The human urge to “rescue” what they believe to be an abandoned kittens dramatically decreases that kitten’s chance of survival. There aren’t enough fosters who are able to bottle feed young kittens & without feeders shelters are forced to humanely 💀 countless kittens every year.

Keep kittens with Mom whenever possible & then mom & kittens can be trapped & fixed all together.

Jailbreak! Zonk is on the loose!
Every litter has a Chaos Coordinator - the smartest, most coordinated & most determined kitten.
And I’m not into stereotypes but 95% of the time it’s a girl!
Especially if it’s a boy/girl pair. It’s ALWAYS THE GIRL!
Zonk & Crash are ready for a bigger enclosure!

Zelda & Link are ready for their happily ever after!
They are available immediately through Anderson Humane

When they came into our care they were emaciated and covered in fleas, with eyes crusted closed with infection.
Today they are healthy, energetic kittens who love everyone they meet!

Fostering saved their lives.

If you would like to adopt them, contact Anderson at [email protected]

What is that sound called?
Slurp? Gulp? Shloop?
This kitten LOVES her bottle and we hear this beautiful noise at every meal 😂

Little Zonk went from being tube-fed and feeling meh just a week ago to full bottle belly 24/7! We have never seen such and enthusiastic bottle baby! She entertains us with the music of her thriving at every feed!

Kittens are weird and wonderful. Fostering is fun, come join us! Kitten Season is in full swing and we need all the help we can get. Please consider donating, volunteering or fostering at

Anyone’s kitty suckle on their fingers? Comfort nursing is a thing!

Sweet little Zonk has a full belly but wants to suck on the fingers that feed her until she drifts off to sleep. She knows these human hands mean comfort and love. Hand-raised kittens are the absolute sweetest! This is one of our favorite parts of fostering!

🎉 Tube-Feeding Saves Lives!

😻 Crash the Kitten Update!
Yesterday was the first day Crash drank from a bottle! He only drank 2-3 ml and needed to still be tube-fed after for the rest of what he needs to keep alive BUT HE DID IT 🎉 Today he has continued to drink a little bit more and we are fingers crossed we will be able to stop tube-feeding him soon. Its a great indicator that he’s feeling better and stronger. Crash is beating all the odds!

Crash has been tube-fed since arriving at our foster home 8 days ago. For those past 8 days, every 2-3 hours around the clock, we have inserted a small tube (we use FR4 size for neonates under 200g) into his mouth, down to his stomach and dispensed nutrients from an attached syringe to keep him alive. We almost always offered the bottle first at every feed only to have his face turn away and not feel well enough to eat. We gladly did all the work for him to make sure he got the calories, hydration and nutrients to continue to live until he felt better. Then we noticed him rooting at our fingertips and we were SO excited when he found the bottle ni**le and enthusiastically suckled. It may have only been a few sips at first, but it’s a huge life-changing milestone for him!
Go, Crash, Go!!
