One of the things we’re incredibly proud of at Rusty Ridge is the opportunity to help train the next generation of veterinarians and veterinary technicians
And when we say hands-on experience, we mean it!
Our students get exposure to SO much more than wellness exams and vaccines. They get to see and learn from complex cases, in-depth diagnostics, advanced imaging, surgical cases, emergency situations and real-world decision making when it matters most
Being family owned doesn’t mean we’re small. It means we’re focused, driven, and independent. We have equipment, technology, and capabilities unavailable at many veterinary hospitals, meaning our students experience medicine that goes far beyond the basics
There’s no corporate playbook telling us how many appointments we need to squeeze in, what cases we can take on, or how we should practice medicine. No cookie-cutter medicine. No sacrificing patient care for quotas
Just a locally owned team that believes in taking care of our patients, supporting our community, and teaching the next generation to be exceptional veterinary professionals
We love getting to watch students come through our doors, ask questions, get their hands dirty, and have those “AH-HA!” moments that remind us why we love what we do!
