As flowers bloom, so do risks for our pets with plenty of opportunity for them to breathe in particles, scratch an eye, poke a paw, or even get snagged by a branch or thorn, all which could potentially lead to infections.

Infections can be sneaky subtle-If your pet is not acting right and you are not sure what it is, get them checked! Like with most conditions, the sooner we treat an infection, the better your pet will feel.

We will be closed on Memorial Day as we take time to honor and remember those who have served 🇺🇸

If your pet experiences an emergency while we are closed, Animal Medical Center of Plainfield will be open and available to assist with urgent care needs.

We will resume normal business hours the following day.

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting a local Brownie Troop at the hospital last week! These young leaders came eager to learn about what goes on behind the scenes .

From learning how we check heartbeats to seeing how we help keep our furry friends healthy, their curiosity and kindness were truly inspiring. Thank you for visiting us, girls—the future of animal care looks bright!

This month, we’re excited to recognize Haley for going above and beyond for our team. 🐾

Haley was nominated for sticking around after her doggie daycare shifts to help finish out kennel duties—because apparently one shift just isn’t enough 😄

When things get busy, Haley is quick to jump in and help wherever she’s needed, and that extra effort has made a big difference for the kennel team.

This month, we’re excited to recognize Jolene for stepping up when it mattered most. 🐾

Jolene was nominated for picking up double shifts to support our reception team during a busy stretch—because one shift just wasn’t quite enough for her either 😉
Her flexibility and willingness to jump in helped keep everything running smoothly and took a lot of pressure off the team.

Update Regarding Doggie Daycare

We want to share a quick update with our daycare family. As many of you know, we pride ourselves on providing a safe, fun, and well-supervised environment for your pups.

Currently, we aren't able to offer daycare as frequently as we’d like. While we’ve been working hard to grow our team, we haven't yet found the right fit that meets the specific scheduling needs required to keep our daycare running at full capacity.

Our priority is, and always will be, the safety of your dogs. To maintain our high standards of care and supervision, we have to ensure we are properly staffed.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this causes your weekly routine. We miss seeing all those wagging tails every day! We are continuing our search for the perfect addition to our team and will keep you posted the moment we can expand our hours again.
