Today we had the honor of making a guest appearance on with one very important mission: Operation Fresh Breath. ✨

After a professional dental, Toby's teeth are cleaner, his gums are healthier, and his kisses are significantly less... seasoned.

The funniest part? Cats are masters at pretending nothing hurts. Dental disease can be pretty painful, even when they're acting completely normal. That's why routine dentals are so importantβ€”they help prevent pain, infection, tooth loss, and keep those tiny chompers in top shape.

Buggles and Raffi truly deserve a post of their own. πŸ–€πŸ§‘

These two were rescued together, and they are the epitome of a bonded pair. Every month we do an in-home visit for their injections, and it's always one of our favorite visits. They're almost always snuggled up together, reminding us just how special their bond is.

We're so lucky to be a small part of their journey and to care for these sweet boys every month. ❀️🐾

While you're enjoying the cookouts and fireworks, remember that the holiday can be one of the most stressful days of the year for our pets. A few simple steps can help keep them safe:

🐾 Double-check gates, fences, and doors before guests arrive. A frightened pet can slip out in seconds.

🏑 Keep pets indoors during fireworks, even if they usually love being outside.

🎢 Create a calm space with the TV, a fan, or calming music to help drown out loud noises.

🏷️ Make sure ID tags and microchip information are up to dateβ€”just in case.

πŸ” Skip the table scraps. Corn cobs, bones, onions, grapes, chocolate, alcohol, and xylitol-containing foods can all be dangerous.

πŸŽ† Keep fireworks and sparklers away from pets. Even "used" fireworks can cause burns or contain harmful chemicals.

πŸ’Š If your pet is on anxiety medication, be sure to give it as directed before the fireworks begin.
