Warm weather means parasites are out in full force! Fleas, ticks, heartworms, and intestinal parasites can all pose a risk to your pets health!

Recent research has identified the presence of Echinococcus multilocularis, a parasitic tapeworm carried primarily by coyotes, foxes, and other wild canids, in Washington State. As wildlife and pets share more of the same environment, protecting your dog from parasites has never been more important.

That’s why we now recommend switching your dogs from Simparica Trio to Credelio Quattro, which provides protection against fleas, ticks, heartworms, intestinal parasites INCLUDING tapeworms. For our feline friends, Revolution Plus and Bravecto Plus remain excellent options for broad-spectrum parasite prevention.

After nearly four decades of dedicated service to pets and their families, Dr. Zebrowski will begin reducing his appointment days starting on June 22nd, 2026. This transition is the first step toward his full retirement, which is planned for September/October of 2026.

Dr. Zebrowski is an invaluable member of our veterinary team. Originally from Detroit, he discovered his passion for animals early in life and went on to earn his DVM with honors from Michigan State University in 1987. Over the years, he has become known for his commitment to client education, his collaborative approach to care, and his genuine dedication to helping pets live healthy, happy lives.

While he begins this gradual transition, Dr. Zebrowski will still be available on a limited schedule, and we encourage you to book appointments with him as needed during this period. Our medical team is also fully prepared to support your pet’s ongoing care and ensure a smooth, seamless experience.

We know how meaningful Dr. Zebrowski’s presence has been to so many of you, and we will share additional updates as his retirement date approaches. Our team will miss him dearly when that day arrives, and we wish him nothing but the best in all his future endeavors!
