Happy July! We hope everyone has a wonderful Independence Day filled with sunshine, food, and family. While we wish you a fun-filled holiday weekend, we also recognize the Fourth of July can be very stressful on our pets. Follow these tips to ensure your Fourth is as safe as it is fun! ❤️🤍💙

BEFORE THE WEEKEND
🐾 July 4th is a common day for pets to go missing. Make sure your pet's microchip information is up-to-date and that they are wearing an accurate and secure ID tag on their collar.

🐾 If your dog struggles through fireworks, anxiety medication can help them through the holiday. If you haven’t already reached out for anxiety medication, the time is now!

DURING THE HOLIDAY
🐾 Don’t bring nervous pets to crowded or loud environments. Instead, provide them with a safe and secure environment.

🐾 Make sure your pets have a cool space to relax and plenty of water during the summer heat.

🐾 Practice caution to prevent your pet from ingesting dangerous items or foods.

Today, we celebrate freedom while we honor those who fought, endured, and dreamed of a better future. Juneteenth is a day to celebrate independence and a reminder that none of us are free until we all are. May we all continue to fight and dream for a brighter tomorrow.
