This beautiful kitty has been living on a property for about a week where workers found it and started feeding and providing water… the project is done and the property will be abandoned for some time and the caretakers need to rehome URGENTLY
This kitty is loving and friendly and loves to snuggle but MAY prefer to stay outside. Very scared at the moment but ready to make a family very happy.

The first tropical storm of the season is already being tracked in the Atlantic, reminding us of the importance of keeping pets up to date on vaccinations & maintaining access to prescriptions and medical records in case of the need to shelter in place, evacuate the city or board our pets in a hurry!

HELPFUL TIPS:

Create an emergency “go bag” with a 1-2 week supply of your pet’s essentials!

Store your “go bag” inside a travel kennel or pet carrier for quick access!

Keep printed copies of vaccine records, complete medical history &
written prescriptions for diets and chronic medications in a
waterproof or Ziplock bag inside your travel kennel!

Maintain digital copies of all important documents!

Don’t forget bottled water, food and water bowls and can openers!

***Speak with your veterinarian about options to treat or prevent anxiety caused by separation, car travel or thunder & lightning storms***

Archie has the E-collar Blues…..
……..but he is a brave resilient soul and will figure out life with a cone for a brief 7-10 days!!!!
Don’t let those puppy eyes fool you!!!! After surgery, your pet does NOT know best when they tell you they don’t need the cone. Cones protect their incision sites from injury and infection and are a VITAL part of post-operative protocol. Talk to one of our staff members if you have questions about this important standard of care!!!
