Happy Veterinary Technician Week!
We want to take a few moments to share about our staff and what makes each of them so special and important to our hospital.
Marissa (far left) can calm a fearful dog and gain trust within just a few minutes. She’s patient and attentive which is exactly what these “big scared” pups need.
Machaela (middle left) is our cat whisperer. She is gentle with restraint and makes sure our feline patients have comfy spaces to hide when they stay with us. As a cat mom herself, it’s obvious this comes naturally.
Laura (middle right) has recently begun helping with treatments and has such a good attitude. She respects the boundaries of each pet and never pushes them to the point of stress but requests extra hands when needed to make sure the visit goes smoothly.
Madeline (far right) is the little dog queen. No one can safely care for our tiniest patients, collect samples, run anesthesia and cuddle them quite like she can. And she makes it look easy!
If you visit us, please be sure to tell our team how much you appreciate their dedication to veterinary medicine and the families who trust Atlas with their babies.
