✅ Keep pets indoors in a quiet, comfy room
✅ Provide hiding spots like crates or covered beds for anxious pets
✅ Keep collars updated with ID tags in case they escape
✅ Never leave pets outside near fireworks, sparklers, or firework debris
✅ Use calming aids or medication if your pet suffers from firework anxiety—request their medication today so you’re prepared for summer celebrations!
✅ Keep a leash handy if you must go outside, and ensure pets are microchipped

It’s Day 7 of National Pet Week, and today we’re celebrating Choppie, a true survivor and sweetheart! 🐾💖

Choppie was a stray found on the mean streets of Bradenton. After three weeks with his loving daddies, he’s thriving in his forever home. 🏡💛 His hobbies include chasing lizards and other wildlife, playing with toys, cuddling, and dragging his daddies around the neighborhood on walks! 🐶🦎🧸

Choppie is so happy to have found his family, and he’s almost forgiven Dr. Jackson and the team at BAH for clipping his claws. 😅

What makes Choppie’s story even more special is that his family opened their hearts and home to a new furry family member after a loss, showing love and resilience that inspires us all. 💖

Here’s to Choppie and all the pets who remind us that love, second chances, and open hearts can make a world of difference! 🌟

A Pet Emergency Disaster Kit should include:
💧 Drinking water & 7–10 days of food in waterproof containers
🍽 Non-spill bowls, feeding instructions, and a can opener
💊 Medications, first aid kit, flea & heartworm prevention
🛏 Travel bed/blankets, comfort toys, anxiety relief
📄 Vaccination records, microchip info, and copies of recent photos

* Cillian and Seamus – the youngest boys and purebred Maine C***s 🐱🐾
* Raúl – a rare Havana Brown, with only about 1,000 of his kind in the world! 😺
* And of course, Cesare, Eliot, Fidel, and Lucy, each bringing their own special charm to this loving home. 💛

Every one of these wonderful feline friends fills their home with love, laughter, and plenty of purrs. 🐾 From playful antics to cozy cuddles, they make every day brighter! ✨
