We are desperately in need of foster homes. Without fosters, we simply cannot take in the Great Pyrenees who are depending on us for a second chance.

Every dog that comes into rescue needs a safe place to land—and right now, we’re running out of options.

All dogs are fully vetted, so you can focus on giving them a stable, loving environment while they wait for their forever home.

We understand fostering isn’t possible for everyone. If that’s you, you can still make a huge impact by providing financial support to help cover medical care, food, and daily needs.

Great news for our sweet boy, Winky! Cape Coral Animal Shelter & Veterinary Clinic accepted him into their adoption program and now he has a great chance of being adopted into a loving fur-ever home! If you know anyone looking for a sweet boy and they don't have cats or have other FeLV+ cats, consider checking him out at his new temporary home in Cape Coral. Winky, the sweet community cat we shared the post about previously, is looking for a home! His caretaker sent this update pic and says he is adapting to indoor life and loves pets and catnip! They have successfully been medicating his eye twice a day and we hope it will heal up nicely and he'll go on to live his best life! We will post an update when he comes in for his recheck in the next week or so! Sadly, she is positive, but she has started the treatment protocol and will get her first adulticide injection (to kill the adult worms) in ~2 months. Please consider donating any used (or new) towels, sheets, or blankets to the clinic. We use them for everything from basic in kennel bedding for our surgery patients, to making kitty burritos (purritos).

Now that we've gotten busier (yay!) we need a larger stock of linens to keep up with our needs!

If you'd like to drop some stuff by, we are typically there M-Th from ~8:30am-4pm. The week of July 6th we'll be there Tu-Fri. We greatly appreciate any help with this and thank everyone in advance!

✨ Meet June ✨

Everyone meet June, a 2 1/2-year-old Labradoodle with so much love left to give. 💕 Through no fault of her own, June’s owner found themselves in a tough spot and made the heartbreaking decision to let her have the fresh start she deserves.

June has had puppies in the past, but those days are officially behind her — she will never have to be a mama again. Now it’s finally June’s turn to be the one who gets spoiled, loved, and cherished in a forever home of her own. 🐾

If you know Labradoodles, then you already know how special they are. They are often loving, affectionate, goofy, intelligent, loyal, and full of personality. They make amazing family dogs, love being with their people, and are usually the kind of dog that wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing. June is ready for that kind of life — one where she gets to be someone’s best friend.

And if you have a pool, that’s definitely a bonus for this girl. ☀️💦

But let’s also talk honestly about owning a Labradoodle:
These dogs are wonderful, but they are not low-maintenance coats. June’s future family needs to understand the grooming that comes along with this breed mix. Labradoodles require regular brushing to prevent painful matting, routine professional grooming every 6–8 weeks, coat maintenance, ear cleaning, and overall upkeep to keep them comfortable and healthy. If you are looking for a dog that you can just bathe once in a while and forget about, a doodle is not that dog. Their coats take commitment, and they deserve a family that is ready for that responsibility.

June is up to date on all vaccines and will be spayed very soon!
