Every once in a while, a family comes through our doors that reminds us why this work matters.
These beautiful German Shepherd puppies arrived at our shelter alongside their mom after she was struck by a car. Despite her injuries, all she wanted to do was stay close to her babies and care for them. Watching her determination and devotion was nothing short of incredible.
Thanks to the actions of our medical team, the round-the-clock dedication of our puppy care team, and Mom's unwavering spirit, this little family made it through. Today, these stunning puppies are healthy, thriving, and ready to begin the next chapter of their lives.
German Shepherds are extraordinary dogs. They are loyal, highly intelligent, eager to learn, and deeply devoted to their families. They also need adopters who understand the breed's needs for training, mental stimulation, exercise, and companionship.
