Josie is a 3-year-old Lab/Cattle Dog mix who has so much love to give, she just needs someone willing to give her a chance. With her gentle heart and soulful eyes, Josie connects deeply with her people and longs to belong to a family of her own.

She’s playful and smart, always eager to please — whether she’s chasing a ball, enjoying a walk, or curling up close for comfort. Josie loves quiet moments just as much as fun ones, especially when they include belly rubs, sunshine naps, and being near the people she trusts.

Josie does best with larger, respectful dogs and would need a home without small animals. She’s been working with a trainer on her leash skills and is trying so hard — every day she shows how willing she is to learn and how much she wants to do things right.

All Josie is missing is someone to say yes. A foster or foster-to-adopt home would change her world and give her the stability she’s been waiting for.
