Meet Max, a striking 11-year-old imported registered PRE gelding standing at 16.2 hands. Max is as kind and handsome as they come, with a good brain and an eagerness to please. He’s been adult amateur owned and has spent most of his time doing lower-level dressage, but he’s schooled through third level movements and shows real potential for a rider looking to go further.
Max has also dabbled in working equitation, where his agility, focus, and willing temperament really shine. He enjoys the variety and challenge it offers, making him a fun and versatile partner for someone interested in exploring that discipline further.
He’s been off property to clinics and shows, where he has consistently handled himself well. He’s competed at First Level dressage with scores in the high 60’s to low 70’s. While he’s sweet, safe, and a true gentleman, we feel he would be happiest with a more experienced or ambitious rider—someone who enjoys a program, regular outings, and wants to keep progressing.
He trailers well, is well-behaved for the farrier, and is easy to clip and bathe. Max is sound, healthy, and ready to be someone’s devoted partner—whether that’s in the dressage arena, out on the trail, exploring working equitation, or heading off to clinics and adventures. Located in Petaluma, Ca
