This is a tough one for me to post but I really need to down size my herd. Good home a must!!!!! This guy is a unicorn! They don’t make them like him any more. Don’t let his age fool you, Falcon is 23 years young with a lot of life left! 16.3 hands tall TB x Paint. He is still sound, never lame, never injected and never been on anti inflammatories. Retired jumper/ dressage horse. He is super sweet guy. I’m looking to find him a forever home. I think he would be happy to go back to work, could be a great lesson horse or a companion horse. Very kind 15 year old 15 hand grade QH mare. She is the easiest mare to have in the barn. Great ground manners, stands tied in the barn for hours!! Very, very patient. Doesn’t get heard bound and loves trails! She is well broke and has some fancy buttons. Comfortable WTC, extends and collects nicely. She can spin and work gates amd has worked cattle. Trailers great and has even been over night camping!! She has been extremely well taken care of and has very low wear and tear. Too many wonderful things to say about this mare. Would make great English or lower level dressage horse as well!

Who is shopping with champagne taste on a beer budget?
This awesome little horse needs to find the perfect home. Unfortunately an injury in the pasture as a 2 year old has left her with some changes that have shown up on an X-ray. She has been in full work for over about a year and a half with NO lameness and passes flexions on the joint. She has been hauled off the property to other facilities to ride at, she has been to a schooling show.
She is a coming 5 year old 15.1 hand branded ISR. She has an amazing work ethic. Schooling second level movements and schooling a lead change. “Archer”

5 year old grade cremello QH gelding standing 14.2(need to measure to confirm). This sweet gelding has been on trail rides, been to schooling shows and has been used as a lesson horse. More whoa than go but not dull. He isn’t spooky. Rides English or western. Has popped over some small jumps as well and seems to like it. GPH clients having a great time at the Sebastopol Wranglers Ranch riding show today!!! Bre had a successful first show ever on Scooter, doing a quick last minute tack swap to western. Addison learned a lot and helped school Archer through patterns and obstacles. And Kathy had some killer horsemanship and ranch riding patterns on Messy!!!! Over all such great fun and success! Thank you Ron Zanetti and Helpers for working so hard to make this show run smoothly!

4 year old 15.1 hand registered and branded ISR. This drop dead gorgeous mare is looking for someone to take her to the top! She has 3 beautiful and comfortable gaits! Well Stepper and I survived our weekend of 108+ degree temps at Gold N Grand. That amazing little mare gave it her all! We came home with 4 buckles.
*Champion in the open ranch riding with our highest score of the weekend being a 78 1/2
*Reserve champion in open ranch riding flat
3rd in the opening reining and 5th in the open ranch reining
And over all we were Reserve champion in the ranch horse division winning a fancy headstall!
I truly love this horse and the places she has taken me!

So proud of my student Addison Bach for winning high point in her age group at our local 4H/ FFA show. She brought home a fancy new halter as well as a boot bag! She has been working very hard over the past year converting our reining mare Messy into a cute hunter.

Thank you David Lawson for working so hard to put on this show for the local youth riders, and Briana Stroud for spending all day in the heat judging!!! And of course all the volunteers and helpers!!!!

“RUGER” is a 8 year old 16.2 hand Registered Appendix Quarter Horse gelding. He is an elegant warmblood type mover with 3 fantastic gaits that are comfortable to ride. He is eager to please, rides both western and English. He is schooling lower level lateral movement with good balance and cadence. Current focus is dressage but could do lower level jumping. Has not been out on trail but is not super spooky and would probably enjoy it if he found someone patient enough to take him out and get miles. “Zena” is a lovely and refined 6 year old 16 hand registered Swedish Warmblood mare. She is a great mover, huge over track at the walk, comfortable trot to sit and a lovely reaching canter. Zena has been started correctly. She had a slight pause in her training to have a foal but and is coming along well. She is easy to move laterally, schooling leg yield and shoulder in. She is easy to handle on the ground and travels well. This talented mare will easily make it up the levels. Located in Petaluma, CA

I had a person call me today. Asked me about training.

It went something like this...

I'm a beginner I need help.

Ok

Well how long do you think you'll need for my horse ?

Ma'am I don't know I haven't met your horse.

I need her started. She's gentle. I'm thinking I can probably take her home and do it myself after 30 days.

Me... no.

So hear me out. 30 days, depending on the horse. Gentling. Saddling. Learning how to accept a rider. Learning how to carry the weight of a rider. Learning how to stop, guide around, have confidence while movement freely under saddle. Depending on the horse, getting out of the arena and confidence on the trail. Confidence without another horse on the trail. And the list goes on from there ....

At this point the horse may have a handful of rides outside the arena. A handful of rides. A handful of lopes under saddle.

This is such a small page in the book of the horses life. This isn't even a chapter y'all. It's a page.

Almost everything you and your horse do from this point out, your horse will be doing for the very first time... a new place, a new sight, a new experience...

And if you are a beginner... and you lack the confidence ... and you get into a sticky situation , you can create a lasting memory/behavior for your horse.

I'm not saying you need to leave your horse with me longer than 30 days to start because I'm greedy...I'm saying that because I want to see you succeed. I'm saying that because I want to help you and your horse get on the same page and be long term happy and successful partners.

While your horse is in training, Once a week you get a lesson with me. Do the math with the time I'm spending there with you including the full training. The feed, me paying my staff and everything else it takes to run things around here. I'm not making much on this...

I mean sure you can try... but it's my job to try to help you be as successful as possible. Mentally and physically long term, you and your horse.
