I've been seeing fleas and flea bites on pets. This is your reminder to start prevention now. Do you know how fast a flea moves? Super fast. Do you know how fast they reproduce? Super fast. How quickly can one flea cause crazy nonstop itching skin and scratching from FLEA DERMATITIS on your pet? You guessed it. Recently, I learned they live for quite a while longer even after they are disposed of.

Dropped off two pups inside front door and their Mom hands me this. First time in 18 years driving my mobile around and getting handed a thoughtful lunch bag for a groomer on the move. Thank you Loretta! I am grateful and lucky to have a wonderful circle of pup parents all over this county: fruits and vegetables from gardens, homemade iced coffees, pastries, etc!

It's so dry out. Think ahead about packing a GO BAG, food, water, leashes to take your pets with you if the urgency arises. Be safe.

Did you know that the tiny vertical groove between a dog’s nose and upper lip actually has a purpose? It’s called the vegetal groove (or philtrum), and it’s not there by accident!
Each time a dog licks its lips, a bit of saliva collects in that groove. Through a process called capillarization, the moisture travels up to the nose — helping keep it damp.
And why does that matter? Because a moist nose is much better at capturing and holding scents from the air. 🌬️✨ That’s part of what makes a dog’s sense of smell so incredibly powerful!
