Sun Bun went home this afternoon shining brighter than ever! ☀️

I am beyond proud of this girl and how much her confidence grew over the last three weeks.

Every new challenge she conquered helped her to leave her old life behind and step into this new chapter with her new mom (and Jelly 🫙).

Sunny was adopted this summer after arriving to the Wicomico Humane Society with 40+ other dogs during an animal hoarding seizure.

The first couple of months Sunny was in her new home gave her the structure to adjust and decompress.

Sunny’s mom signed her up for training as soon as her adoption was official and I just love that so much!

Training has created a clear communication system for her and her mom while outings and time around stable dogs allowed her to bloom.

These two really hit the jackpot finding each other and I’m so honored to play a part in their journey together.

This is just the beginning of the good part Sunny girl 💛

It’s September, my birthday month and I thought I’d celebrate by having a little fundraiser for the Humane Society of Wicomico County!

I’m fundraising to purchase some Mendota Pet slip leads for the volunteers at the shelter who walk and take dogs on day outings.

$5 per entry for the chance to win a dog goodies basket! Treats, toys, a slip lead, shampoo and more will be included in the basket.

10 year old Cookie truly is a Golden Girl!

Cookie was adopted in 2015 & lived in a loving home all this time until recently when her mom experienced some hardship & did what she could so Cookie can continue to have the life she deserves.

Cookie is currently looking for a soft place to land in a forever home OR a short term foster where she can recover comfortably from a surgical procedure the shelter staff would like her to have done.

Older dogs are such gems & make the most wonderful bestie friends.

Dogs like Cookie really are what most people want in a companion dog. Trust me.
