Medicare Open Enrollment (Oct. 15-Dec. 7) is an opportunity to review your Medicare Part D prescription drug plan, and to make any necessary/desired changes to your Part D plan.
Appointments are now being scheduled at MAC for Part D reviews during the Medicare Open Enrollment period. For an appointment, call 410-742-0505, Ext. 106. Callers will be asked to leave their name(s) and a phone number; we will contact you with an appointment day and time.

MAC’s Community for Life Wicomico honors the memory of Patricia Hughes Tolley.
The program for her recent memorial service described her as a beloved community member, devoted volunteer and cherished friend. Her commitment to her community extended to her involvement with the MAC Community for Life program, where she felt loved and was offered support.
Mrs. Tolley died Aug. 14, 2024, at age 77.

Tucker, MAC’s unofficial furry mascot, was on hand, welcoming many of his four-legged friends from Pets on Wheels of Delmarva to visit with the group, including Pearl, and Ivy and Gus.

Beware of misleading ads offering free things when it comes to Medicare

When you are on social media sites, be careful for misleading ads and posts offering free things when it comes to Medicare.

The SMP has heard reports of spend cards, Medicare flex cards, and dental coverage offers targeting Medicare beneficiaries that lead the online user to a Medicare Advantage website to access these but in turn, beneficiaries are signing up for different plans without realizing it.

If you have questions about Medicare savings or coverage, contact your state SHIP. They are unbiased Medicare counselors who can help with coverage questions. If you believe you were misled in your coverage or were enrolled in a Medicare Advantage program unwillingly, contact your at 877.808.2468 or email [email protected].
