We’ll teach your social butterfly to stay grounded around dogs and people—without dulling their shine. Please note that this class is for overly-social pups, not for reactive, fearful or aggressive ones. Check out our private training options for that!

We hear it all the time—and yep, it’s true. Most dogs jump to say hi because they’re happy to see you! But excitement doesn’t have to mean chaos.

If your dog greets guests with a flying leap (or paws to the face), try this:
➡️ Teach an incompatible behavior.
Ask for a sit before the jumping starts. If paws are on the ground = attention. If not = no dice.

➡️ Reinforce the right choice.
Every time your dog keeps 4 paws on the floor, they earn treats, praise, or petting.

➡️ Practice low-stakes greetings.
Rehearse with calm people they already know before adding exciting guests.
