🐾 WHERE IN THE WORLD ARE YOUR DOGZ TRAINERS THIS WEEK?! 🌎✈️🐕

📍 CHICAGO, ILLINOIS!

Nope, we haven’t run away with the circus (although, let’s be honest, some days it seems like we already are in one! 🤣).

Your Dogz Training team has packed their bags, grabbed their notebooks, and headed to the CANIS Conference! 🧠🐾

Why? Because even the trainers need training!

We’re spending the week learning from experts, exploring the latest research in canine behavior and training, exchanging ideas with fellow professionals, and finding even more ways to help dogs and their humans succeed.

🎓 Good trainers teach. Great trainers never stop learning.

We believe our clients deserve trainers who don’t just rely on what they’ve always done, but who continue to grow, question, learn, and evolve as the science evolves.

And yes, we’re squeezing in a little Chicago sightseeing and fun along the way! 🌆🍕😎

We’ll be back with fresh knowledge, new ideas, and probably way too many pictures of Chicago.

Because your dogs deserve our very best, and we’re always working to be better! ❤️🐾

🐾 No training classes this week!

The entire Dogz Training team is attending an international educational conference to expand our knowledge, sharpen our skills, and learn from leading experts in dog training and behavior.

We’re committed to continuing our education so we can bring you and your dogs the very best in humane, science-based training. Even trainers need to go to class! 🎓🐶

Thank you for supporting our learning. We can’t wait to share what we learn!

Nowadays dogs are big business. ANYONE WITH ZERO QUALIFICATIONS CAN PRETEND TO BE A DOG TRAINER. These morally deprived people are all over the internet.

Any loudmouth who says they’ve trained military and police dogs either don’t know or don't care that these dogs routinely undergo physical and psychological abuse during training. Abusive training is never how any animal, never mind a companion pet, should be treated. Animals learn like we do with patience, guidance, kindness, and rewards.

DO NOT PAY FOR TRAINING IN ADVANCE. Testimonials are not proof of competency. Do not be deceived by self-hype and fancy, yet meaningless, certificates.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR DOGS TO STRANGERS TO BE TRAINED.
Never send your dog to a board and train. Stay with your dog during training. Ensure the trainer holds proper credentials, is bonded, is ethical, and can definitively prove it.

Los Angeles Animal Services has launched an investigation into reports that dogs placed under the care of a trainer and pet boarding facility had allegedly died under suspicious circumstances. The …
