We offer English lessons, Western lessons, and therapeutic riding services.

Proudly serving NC and beyond since 2003. We strive to build hope, increase self-esteem, and enhance the joy and inspiration for life in all individuals who participate in our programs. We offer a variety of able-bodied riding lessons as well as both fee-based and therapeutic riding sessions. We also have summer camps. HfH enables individuals to achieve their full potential using Equine Assisted Activities; promoting wellness, strength, and HOPE in partnership with a HORSE.

We're guessing everyone is still recovering from all the soccer excitement last night... ⚽😅

Unfortunately, we had a few volunteer no-shows this week and could really use some extra support to fill those spots.

We're looking for:
🐴 Horse Leaders
🎨 Help with crafts
🥅 games

Even if you can only help for part of a day, we'd love to have you. Your time makes a huge difference in creating a fun, safe, and successful camp experience for our participants.

🚨 Last-Minute Volunteer Help Needed This Week! 🚨

We had one of our amazing volunteers unexpectedly need to take this week off, and we're looking for a few helping hands to fill in during summer camp.

If you have a few hours to spare—or can help for even one day—we would be so grateful! Volunteers help with leading horses, assisting campers, setting up activities, and making camp a fun, safe experience for everyone.

🐴 No horse experience? That's okay! We'll show you what to do.

Abbey, you wear so many hats around here and you wear every single one of them beautifully. As our camp lead counselor this summer, you have shown up every single day with energy, patience, and a whole lot of heart for every camper who walks through our gate. And as one of our year-round riding instructors, you pour that same dedication into your students week after week. 🐴

We're halfway through our 3rd week of camp and the magic just keeps on coming! 🐴✨

This week our campers have been leading horses, grooming, feeding, riding — and as our barn manager Whitney put it so perfectly: "Summer camp isn't just horses. It's life skills — like using a hammer to repair a bird house." 🔨 We couldn't agree more. What happens here goes far beyond the arena.

A huge shoutout to our incredible camp instructor Abbey for pouring her heart into every single camper this week — your patience and passion make all the difference. 💛 And a special thank you to Avery for capturing all of these beautiful moments through her lens!

And to ALL of our amazing volunteers — this camp simply would not exist without you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. 🙏 We still have a few future weeks where we could use extra hands! 🐴 What a week at Horses for Hope Summer Camp! 🐴

From leading horses and grooming, to painting handprints on the barn wall and even decorating our horses with colorful art — this week's campers brought so much joy and energy to our farm. Watching these kids build confidence, compassion, and connection with our horses is exactly why we do what we do. 🌟

None of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your time, patience, and love for these kids make camp truly magical. 🙏
