Meet two of our new friends, Finn and Fern! These siblings (not bonded) Finn (L, male) and Fern (R, female) are some of the sweetest, snuggliest pups around! They come to us from Granville County and have been hanging out in their foster homes for the last week or so learning how to be good pack members and rockstars in a family home.

While these friends are not listed on our site currently, you can let us know you're interested by subscribing to our eBlast list or submitting an adoption application in advance for when they are ready!

Join us this time tomorrow for our extended Saturday hours from 12-3 p.m. at our adoption center! We'll be there for our Paws & Purrs Adoption Day, ready to greet you and answer any questions you have about our furry friends.

Sand Dollar, O'Malley, Crumpet, and so many other kitties as well as our canine pals Roland and Finn will be around! Be sure to take this opportunity to visit our dog side without an appointment–we don't take walk ins normally, and aren't open weekends so this is a great time to come get any questions answered about adopting a pup from us!

We honestly can't figure out how Crumpet is still waiting for a home.

This sweet, gentle girl is the total package—loving, quiet, and happiest curled up beside her favorite person. Crumpet has so much love to give and is more than ready to find the cozy forever home she deserves.

As one of our condo kitties, she's the first you see in our lobby when you stop in for a visit. We hope you'll spend some time getting to know her! Her quiet personality can be overlooked, but we know her perfect fit is out there.

Could you be the one she's been waiting for? Come by our center and visit anytime between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday! This weekend we're even open for our extra extended hours on Saturday from 12-3 p.m.!

You have 12 DAYS LEFT to submit your pet to be the next face of Rescue Brew! Nominations close on June 30, so you have just under two weeks to enter your pup or kitty to be the next featured creature on this limited edition brew from Fullsteam!

Nominations are $10 and all funds support Second Chance Pet Adoptions! The top six pups and top six cats will also be featured in our 2027 Rescue Brew calendar!

Tsuki's ready to enjoy the outdoors, but with you!

This 1.5-year-old beagle mix is equal parts adventure buddy and cuddle bug. At 50 pounds, she loves walks, playtime, dog friends, and making new human friends wherever she goes. House-trained, crate-trained, and eager to learn (especially when treats are involved!), Tsuki is ready to bring lots of joy to her forever family.

Meet our handsome orange boy Randolph!

Friendly, affectionate, and always ready to be part of the action; he loves people, follows his humans around, and is happiest when he’s getting attention or keeping you company.

Randolph also takes playtime very seriously —he’s all about running, chasing, and wrestling, so he’ll need a playful feline friend in his future home. Don't worry, after the zoomies, he’s right back to being a sweet, affectionate cuddle bug.
