Ten years ago, Dr. Horstman performed his very first mobile orthopedic surgery and that moment set the foundation for what would become one of Nebraska’s leading veterinary orthopedic centers.
What began in 2015 with a single surgeon on the road, prepping instruments at home with his wife, Jessica, and loading everything into the car for each procedure, has transformed into a state-of-the-art facility serving Thousands of patients each year.
From mobile beginnings to designing and structuring a dedicated orthopedic center, Dr. Horstman’s journey represents a decade of innovation, growth, and unwavering commitment to providing advanced mobility solutions for pets across the region.
As we celebrate this milestone, we’re also looking ahead with excitement. The next chapter of Sirius promises continued advancement in orthopedic care, expanded patient services, and new opportunities to elevate how we support pets and the veterinary community.
