We are excited to welcome Dr. Mackenzie Walkenhorst to our team!

Dr. Walkenhorst earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University. She has an additional certification in small animal natural nutrition and has been practicing in the Pacific Northwest for the past 6 years.

Dr. Walkenhorst’s passion for veterinary medicine began early in life, inspired by her love for animals and her early experiences in animal care as a kennel attendant. Her recent experience at a mixed animal practice in Washington further strengthened her commitment to providing high quality, individualized care to every pet.

In her free time, Dr. Walkenhorst and her husband enjoy hiking, camping, and horse trail riding with their three Quarter Horses, and relaxing at home with their two sons, their dog and their cat.

Dr. Walkenhorst will see patients on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays beginning Monday, September 8th.
