Piper's One-Week Board & Train Update
Miss Piper came to us for a 2-week Board & Train, and the first few days were all about helping her feel safe. She was so scared and shut down that she didn't even want to come out of her kennel. Instead of pushing her, we worked at her pace and focused on building trust and confidence.
Just one week later, the progress has been amazing!
โ
Walks nicely on a leash
โ
Automatically sits when we stop walking
โ
Goes to place when sent
โ
Settles quietly in a down
โ
Plays nicely with other pups
โ
Much more confident and eager to learn
We still have another week to help her reach her family's goals, but we're incredibly proud of how far she's come already.
It's important to remember that every dog learns differently. Some dogs are ready to jump right into training, while others need time to build trust before they can truly learn. Piper is proof that patience, consistency, and meeting a dog where they are can make all the difference.
One week ago, she was too scared to come out of her kennel. Today, she's learning, playing, and thriving. ๐พโค๏ธ
