Get your kiddo(s) signed up now for our Horse Adventure Day (& bake sale) at M&H Stable & Arena. It will be 3.5 hours packed full of learning about/riding horses & making new friends.

All proceeds will be donated to the Lonestar Riders 4-H Club.

🐴 Basic information 🐴

💥 Lessons are $30/per lesson and last approximately 1 hour.

💥 Lessons will include proper grooming, tacking, ground work, learning about feeding, cleaning stalls, riding (arena/trail), body parts, & much more. We strive for an all around general horsemanship program.

💥 We accept ages 6 & up (but can occasionally make an exception for a younger rider).

💥 Cash, Venmo, Cashapp. No personal checks.

💥 Non-refundable $10 deposit due to hold lesson at time of scheduling.

💥 All riders required to wear a helmet. Helmets are provided or you can bring your own.

💥 Western type boots with a heel are REQUIRED to handle/ride during a lesson. No exceptions.

💥 Cell phones are not permitted while at the barn. Child may leave cell phone in barn office until lesson is over.

💥 Parents/siblings may wait during lesson at the end of the barn (some seating) or bring a chair and relax by the pond. Parents/siblings are not permitted in/around the arena while a lesson is in session. We will allow ONE sit in date per month, where parents can watch their children ride. Unfortunately 97% of time we've found that parents/siblings become a distraction and make it hard for us to teach, which can become dangerous when your child is on a 1,000 + animal.

16yo. Grade. Paint. Mare. 14/14.1hh. Wide as she is tall.
Broke to ride & drive (has not been drove in a few years - I unfortunately don't have cart/harness). Good to saddle, bridle, load, tie, etc. Has been ridden by beginner type riders & up. Great on trails- will ride in the front/middle/back, crosses mud/water. Just did a 3hr trail ride at Salt Fork (11/12). Has done more outside riding than inside, but will do both. Big enough for an adult. Stays fat on air. Come try her out. 🤠

Don't waste my time if you don't have the funds, time to travel to see/ride her or the actual intent to purchase. Photos/video provided in the add. May get more at some point but this is what we have for now. Come try her out.

With school, sports, etc we know how hard it can be to find time for lessons. We are now offering "Sunday Funday" at the barn! This is a drop off event that does require an advance non-refundable deposit (unless cancelation is on our end). Come check us out!!!

We have been MIA for a while, but we are back (sorta).

As most of you know we also have a 4-H club & attend the Guernsey County Jr Fair with horses, sheep & goats!!

Our members all did a GREAT job this year and we couldn't be more proud.

Kierah has been riding with me (Marci) for approx 2 years, this is her 2nd year in 4-H with a horse (Bosko).

We spent the weekend barrel racing at Hendersons Arena.

Rodeo tonight @ West Alex.
Rodeo Weds night @ Belmont County Fair.
We will run the Rodeo @ Guernsey County next week. Then the end of September will be our NBHA State Finals.

You can say things have been pretty busy for us!! 🥵

We have a few spots open for lessons! $30/hr. Ages 4 & up. Our program is based on an all-around approach of horsemanship. From learning to properly clean stalls, groom, saddle, bathe, handle, load/unload, anatomy, proper feeding, doctoring/bandaging, trail rides, arena time & much much more!!!

What a day man. Almost 60 kiddos showed up for a day full of FUN!!! 🐴😁

If you have any photos to share, please do so!!

Also some kiddos left their craft here & we found a water bottle. If you want their craft let me know, I'll hold onto them for a few days!!!

Thank you to everyone who showed up to help - it takes an entire village to put on an event this big. But we take pride in being able to offer a cost free event for our local youth!!!
