We're thrilled to share some exciting news:

For the past four years, we've been searching for the right person to join our team—someone who shares our values, our approach to medicine, and our commitment to providing personalized care to every patient and family who walks through our doors.

From the moment Dr. Pate met our team, it was clear she was a natural fit. Like Dr. Clark, she is passionate about building lasting relationships with clients, continually learning the latest advancements in veterinary medicine, and working alongside pet owners to help their animals live happy, healthy lives.

"I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, but what ultimately drew me to veterinary medicine was the opportunity to help both pets and the people who love them," says Dr. Pate. "Every day is different, and it's incredibly rewarding to help improve the lives of animals and support their families through every stage of life."

When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Pate enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and tackling projects around the house. She also shares her home with Hagrid, a Golden Retriever, and Pooter Don Gato, a gray domestic shorthair cat.

We're so excited for our clients to get to know Dr. Pate and experience the compassionate, thoughtful care she brings to every appointment.

Eloise clearly takes her responsibilities very seriously… including making sure her bill gets paid after her wellness visit.

After stopping by the front desk for checkout, she was all smiles and tail wags! We loved seeing this sweet girl and helping keep her healthy, happy, and ready for summer adventures. ☀️

Meet one very lucky little guy. 🐾❤️

This sweet kitten was found by his humans just a few days ago and came in to see us for his very first vet visit! Here he is with Carl soaking up all the fun during his visit. The good news? He’s a healthy boy, officially cleared for his new adventures, and has already found his furever home. 🏡🐱

Those first kitten visits are so important because they help set the foundation for a healthy life. Early veterinary care allows us to:

🐾 Check overall growth and development
🐾 Start vaccines and parasite prevention
🐾 Screen for common kitten illnesses
🐾 Answer questions about nutrition and behavior
🐾 Help kittens build positive, low-stress experiences at the vet from the very beginning

Bean recently stayed with us and soaked up all the cuddles, comfy blankets, and personalized care during his boarding visit. ❤️

As a reminder, our clinic will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. While we will not offer boarding drop-off or pick-up times on the holiday, our team will still be here caring for and checking on all boarding pets throughout the day.

We’re so thankful for your understanding as our team takes time to be with their loved ones while still making sure pets like Bean feel safe, loved, and comfortable during their stay.

If your pet needs medication refills before the holiday weekend, please plan ahead and submit requests early.
