💘 Edna is still waiting for her Valentine… 💘

This shy little lady is oh-so-sweet, but she’s starting to worry she hasn’t found her person yet. She put on her prettiest Valentine’s Day dress in hopes someone might finally notice her. 💕

Edna knows it’s tough out there. Dark-coated dogs often get overlooked on Facebook while all the tiny puppies steal the spotlight. But we see her. And once you do too? You won’t forget her.

She’s taking her time to fully blossom, which means she’ll need a home with experienced adopters who understand that the best flowers take a little patience. 🌸 Her personality reminds us so much of Olive (now Remi) and now Remi is spending Valentine’s Day spoiled and adored by her dad. Edna deserves that same kind of love story.

If you’ve submitted an application recently and think Edna might be your girl, send us a message.
If you’d like to apply to adopt her, the application is in the comments.

Let’s make sure this sweet girl doesn’t spend until St. Patrick’s Day waiting. 💌

Exposure to winter’s dry, cold air and chilly rain, sleet and snow can cause chapped paws and itchy, flaking skin, but these aren’t the only discomforts pets can suffer. To help prevent cold weather dangers from affecting your pet’s health, please heed this advice from our experts.

Tomorrow's forecast is looking pretty ruff, so we're closing up shop, stay warm.

Extreme cold is coming. From Sunday Jan 18 through Sunday Jan 25, temperatures will drop to dangerously low levels, with wind chills reaching double-digit negatives.

Please bring all pets inside during this time. Even brief exposure to these conditions can be life-threatening. If pets must go outside, limit it to quick potty breaks.

Your pets are counting on you—keep them safe and warm.
