August is Itchy Pet Awarness Month!
While it's normal for your pet to have an occasional itch, excessive itching and licking can be indicative of something more uncomfortable like allergies or skin conditions.
Here are some signs that it could be more than a simple itch:
-Frequent scratching, licking, biting and chewing
-Excessive rolling, rubbing or scooting
-Recurring ear problems or head shaking
-Hair loss, body odor or skin changes

From her signature heels and impeccable style to her sharp medical knowledge, Dr. Mercedes brings something special to our team every single day. A proud New Yorker and devoted Bills fan, she combines confidence, compassion, and expertise in everything she does.

Whether she's performing a detailed ultrasound, solving a challenging case, or taking the time to remember the little details about each client and patient, Dr. Mercedes makes everyone feel seen and cared for. Her kindness, intelligence, and dedication to providing exceptional care make her an invaluable part of our hospital.

Seven years ago, Taylor joined our team as a kennel technician in our boarding facility, and since then she has continued to grow, lead, and make an incredible impact every step of the way. From serving as our Boarding Director to now excelling as our Pharmacy Technician and Inventory Manager, Taylor has worn many hats—and she wears them all exceptionally well.
Taylor's knowledge of body language is unmatched, making her an incredible advocate for our patients and a trusted resource for both clients and team members. Her kindness, humor, and willingness to help never go unnoticed. No matter the challenge, Taylor always finds a way to make things happen!

Just recently we celebrated Lily and three amazing years of caring for our boarding guests!
Lily has a special way of making every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while they're away from home. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals shine through in everything she does. Whether she's making sure a pet gets extra cuddles, keeping a close eye on their needs, or simply treating them like one of her own, Lily goes above and beyond for every furry friend in our care.
Her compassionate heart and dedication make her an important part of our team, and we're so grateful for everything she does each day.
Fun fact: When she's not caring for pets, Lily is working toward another passion—she's currently in school to become a pastry chef!
