Just a heads up, our hospital will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observation of Memorial Day. STAY! At Park West Vet will be open on May 25th from 8am-11am for pick up and drop offs.

Serving those who serve our community 🐾💙🚔
For her Junior National Beta Club community service project, the daughter of one of our veterinary technicians chose to give back to some very special local heroes — our working and retired police K9s and their handlers. She thoughtfully created gift bags filled with special treats and handwritten personalized cards to show her appreciation for all they do.
We are so proud to see kindness, compassion, and a love for animals shine through the next generation. Thank you to all of our K9 officers and handlers for your dedication and thank you Kennedy for making sure they feel appreciated!

Happy 5 Year Anniversary to Dr. Mauer!

For the past five years, Dr. Mauer has been providing compassionate care to so many of our patients — from beloved dogs and cats to exotic pets that need a special touch. Her kindness, dedication, and genuine love for animals make such a difference to our team and the families we serve every day.

In addition to caring for our regular and exotic patients, Dr. Mauer also helps families navigate international health certificates, ensuring pets can safely travel wherever life takes them.

We are also incredibly proud to celebrate Dr. Mauer’s recent achievement of becoming an American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) Diplomate and Board Certified in Canine and Feline Practice — a true testament to her hard work, knowledge, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Last week we celebrated Dr. Butler’s 15 year anniversary🎉

For the past 15 years, Dr. Butler has been an incredible part of the Park West Veterinary family and truly the glue that holds our clinic together. His kindness, compassion, and dedication to both pets and their people make him not only an amazing doctor, but also someone clients and team members deeply value and trust.

Whether he’s providing exceptional care to patients or spending extra time swapping stories and building relationships with clients, Dr. Butler has a way of making everyone feel welcomed and cared for. His passion for veterinary medicine and genuine love for people and animals shines through in everything he does.
