Exciting News! This week we got to celebrate the first year anniversary of our Technician Assistant, Brandon!
You may have seen Brandon when you came in for a Technician appointment. His knowledge and gentle approach to our patients ensures they are as comfortable as possible during their appointments. Not only is Brandon great with our patients, he is also a great team member who is always quick to jump in when someone needs help. We appreciate everything Brandon has brought to Park West Veterinary and can not wait for many more anniversaries!

You may notice some ducks around the clinic this week... we are having our 6TH ANNUAL DUCK HUNT! In honor of Tech appreciation week, we have hidden ducks around the clinic for staff to find. Whoever has the most by the end of the week will get a fun prize. If you see a duck, be sure to let a staff member know and tell them happy appreciation week!

We are wishing a very happy 4 year anniversary to a face you have all seen, MARY! Mary is one of our wonderful Client Care Coordinators who is one of the first people and last people you see whether it be for a hospital appointment or for boarding. She is also one of the voices you may have heard when calling to schedule an appointment, book a reservation or need some helpful advice for your pet! She is a quick problem solver who offers a lot of compassion for our Clients and their pets. Mary has been such an important part of the Client Care team so please help us wish her a HAPPY 4 year anniversary!

At this time our primary concern is the safety of pets, the wellbeing of our clients and our staff as we monitor Tropical Storm Imelda.
Please be advised that we are currently NOT changing our hours and are remaining OPEN.
We do ask that you reach out to your emergency contacts if your pet will be boarding to ensure that they are aware of the storm and prepare them to pick up if it becomes necessary.
We will continue to monitor the storm's conditions closely and provide updates if there will be any changes. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Last week we got to celebrate the THREE year anniversary of Ann! Ann worked at Park West Vet years ago and lucky us, she came back and has been here for 3 years. Ann is one of our talented LVTs who does it all, from scrubbing into surgeries, assisting Dr. Decker with integrative medicine and working alongside our K9s and working breeds! As if she doesn't already do so much, she has also taken over our Fear Free program to make sure we are continuing to thrive when it comes to alleviating as much stress and anxiety as possible for every patient who comes to see us. We are so thankful for Ann and know our Clients and Patients feel the same!
